Had a windows update the other day and since then no wifi.
It will occasionally work for a few minutes, when it goes off (the wifi)
no networks are shown, normally theres 7 or 8 shown.
I've rolled back the update, removed and reinstalled the driver
but it's still the same.
Any other ideas on what to try?

I would try a usb network adapter just to rule out a hardware failure.
Something like this would do https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WN823N-Wireles...

W10 seems to have a habit of doing this on some computers.

Try deleting (uninstalling) the WiFi card from the device manager, then reboot. Windows should find the WiFi device and re-add it.

I got sick of it doing this on my wife's Toshiba, so I disabled the built in WiFi and bought one of these:

been fine since.

Thanks,I have tried uninstalling the driver etc, hoping for something I hadn’t thought of.

Not just uninstall the driver, uninstall the device itself.
