Ethernet wiring to fire stick
Discussion
I’ve got a fire stick that buffers occasionally. Usually on live sport.
Couple of questions.
I’m only getting 45mbps download. Would having too many wireless devices connected at once (7 sometimes the usual iPads, phones etc ) be spreading the load too thin?
Has anybody had success with using an adapter and running an Ethernet cable directly from the router? I’ve seen them advertised/mentioned but personal experience would be good if you’ve tried it.

Yes, I use the Fire TV Ethernet adaptors on mine.

Both my Fire TVs are in slight WiFi dead ones, so I use powerline Ethernet plugs and the Ethernet adaptors to make a wired connection back to my router. Results in both Fire TVs being able to comfortably stream 4K.
