It might be a bit much to think the insurance firm will go to all the effort of digging into the ps5 to find out what date and time it broke.......

It's 500quid not 50 grands worth.
Met an insurance investigator once, the way he summed it up was he only needed to catch one "water leak killed my laptop.. Oh and my phone.. Oh and.." a week to justify his employment. Catch a few a month and he gets a bonus.

Call handlers flag the oddity (high value, sudden "mysterious" demise) he then selects the cases based on experience and item(a)would be collected, couple hours investigating and then report written.

Very little actual effort for people who know what to look for. Further investigation based on how much an insurer wants to fight it... Easy monies.
In this case, it's a piece of piss...

All activity is logged online on the PSN account. Log in via PlayStation app on phone, see last activities. Ask questions about why the last activities are the day before insurance was bought...

Calling bullst on the glass table breaking and the PS5 somehow getting mangled. That's been destroyed in a fit of rage.

Also, even if they claim on their contents insurance, their insurer isn't going to be able to magic one up for them.

Why does someone have to “stay up all those endless nights” to buy a games console?
Sounds quite sad cry

To be fair the retailers keep releasing them at 4am in the morning, I prefer my sleep however.

I had assumed that the "stay up all those endless nights" comment meant he was working extra hours to fund the purchase, but if he's just been sitting up all night on the off chance that one comes up for sale...

The mind boggles spin

For some reason the OP completely deleted everything on the post as he didn’t seem to like some of the answers he got.

The USB port and wiring was damaged as well as what sounded like the chassis or structural parts and it had a game stuck inside.
That’s why its always important to quote the OP.
Google never forgets, the cache is still there.
I can never seem to get cache to work. The only version i can see is the one where he has deleted his original post, what am I doing wrong?

There’s also a quote of this in the council thread

Guessing he was playing Demon's Souls when the 'kid' 'accidentally' broke the glass table.

Don’t be so quick to judge people, funny how I got assumptions made up about me that I’m a bad parent and have yobbo kids and live in a council etc etc grow up honestly.

Anyway now I am done, enjoy your bickering

I think most people just judged you as being a bit of a knob, something that you have yet to disprove
