I recently had the same issue. 3 put up my £7 contract (15gb, unlimited texts & calls). I phoned them up and negotiated down to £8 for 30 GB, unlimited texts & calls for 12 months.

Presumably once purchased you then have to contact them if you wish to keep your mobile number?

Just get a PAC from your existing supplier

https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/portin

(FYI for the pedants, it's a PAC not a PAC Code, that's a tautology laugh)

I like Smarty.

Currently rocking unlimited everything (Mins / Txts / Data) for £16p/m.

Good speed. Good support. Good coverage.
Same here.

Was with 3, then they bumped the prices, left and went with Smarty who are 3s sister company, but cheeper?

Voxi on the vodafone network currently have a double data sale on, 30gb for £10 a month on a 30 day rolling contract. I'm with 1P mobile and pay £15 a month for 50gb. This lot seem to be the only network offering a full fat 5g on the EE network apart from EE themselves, who are quite dear.

Thanks, to all who answered - it really helped! I ended up going with Lebara (which is Vodafone in a cheaper shell!) - 15GB data, unlimited texts and calls for £6.95 uSwitch exclusive! That has saved me a packet!

Thank you all!!

Ive been with Virgin for a while. I think it's £6 a month and you get 4GB data plus unlimited calls and texts. I struggle to use it all tbh, although I'm usually within range of WiFi.
I’m also with Virgin Mobile, always been good value
Also been with Virgin for a few years, 4gb unlimited texts 1500mins for (originally) £6 a month but now £6.93, just switched deals with them....
30 day rolling contract unlimited calls & texts 3gb with roll over for £4.95 all done with a few whatsapp messages

If you're not fussed about staying with EE but want to stay on the network 1P mobile are doing 50gb of full fat 5g, unlimited calls ant texts for £15 a month.

I'm with O2 because I'm also a Virgin media customer so I get double data from O2 and double broadband speed from Virgin as a package deal. As a result I get 50gb data for £11 per month.

I’ve just renewed my SIM only with Vodafone and got Spotify, roaming, 5G, unlimited calls and texts and 250Gb a month for £28.80 which is a tenner less than before. Have also added in Cityfibre BB 500 for another £23 on top too (moving from Virgin who frankly offered nothing to retain). Saving myself over £50 a month from my old combo.

Another vote for Virgin, just note that they are moving people across this month to the 02 Network.

Had an email from Virgin today informing me of the change over to O2 this apparently comes with some added extras one of which is the following....

The reason I went for a low ampunt of data is because I never use it all every month,no chance at all of that now rolleyes

Are you actually complaining because you got extra for free?

Not a clue, but I only paid £2.78 last month, so could probably handle a 15% hike if I had to laugh All joking aside, one of the things that persuaded me to give Lebara a go was that it's a rolling monthly contract, so I'm only ever 30 days from a new provider if there's something I can't get on with.

The wife got a Smarty SIM on Thursday last week, on a £20/month Unlimited everything deal.

Long story short, but after a few days of terrible coverage (H+ Only) and even worse Customer Service, she's going back to EE. Looking online it looks as if Smarty don't support her phone for VoLTE properly (she has an Xperia 5 II), even though the network they use (3) does.

Biggest issue was that I had to do some research to find that out - the Customer Services team were worse than useless.
