After reading this I tried to thwart the protection on the new Radiohead CD.

Tried the sticking a bit of paper over the outside track which allowed me to see some very short wma tracks. In the end I mamaged to rip everything apart from the first track.

Bleedin annoying!

Have'nt tried the marker yet. Damn annoying, though.

My mates was 1995 too. Factory fit on a Golf Mk3. 80min discs are a bit sketchy too!

Luv ya Carrie.
Works a treat, or at least has on the first experimental one.
Big hugs and kisses.

Carrie. The indelible marker trick worked a treat on Jamiroquia, but on Jools Holland and Bruce Springstein, it didn't work the first time with a 3mm line so upped it to 5mm. Now plays but the problem is, I have lost the last couple of tracks.
Anyone know how to remove indelible marker from a CD face??
Is this some form of musical censorship?

Glad it kinda worked. I guess you need some sort of non abbraisive solvent to get it off.

So me anglegrinders no use then!
Thanks Carrie, never liked that last track anyway. The answer here is to only do the marker thing with CDs that are less than 70 mins long. THen you won't blank off the last song(s).
Keep experimentin though.
