Can you share the spec!?
Agree on the GTC taking some of the thunder away. It would be useful to know the price point on the GTC.

I was under the impression that residuals are pretty strong...
How come you sold the GTS?
I have only had a short demo in the GTS and I liked the car a lot. The only thing which annoyed me a tad was the light steering.
The residuals are dreadful, all the main top end dealers were not interested unless they could buy at a massive saving as there are so many available and loads more coming off lease from Mercedes. It was a great car apart from the overlight steering but I had only really bought it on a whim when my 12C was due to go for a service (which used to take about 4-6 weeks), I thought it would be a great car to drive for a few weeks and then sell for a premium or get close to my money back. My fault for keeping it too long and not accepting the first dealer bid which was a £10k loss after five weeks. How come you sold the GTS?

Very helpful having that link for the GT-R threesisxty. I'm hoping we will hear in a more official manner that this model will be limited to 150 models. http://mbworld.org/forums/amg-gt-gts/640058-amg-gt...

I was thinking of ordering one a month ago but I too have lost faith as 150k for this car is getting into neatly new 650s mclaren territory and I know which has the wow factor out if this 2
If the gtr had gull wing doors it might have had a better chance but there is a lot of choice at 120-160k
The gts are really dropping again because how many people want a 2nd hand car over 100k

I have just been told that they have 180 orders for the 140 UK cars. I'm not sure whether to go ahead or just wait for the Black Series. orbtar said:

I've had a £500 quid deposit/LOI/Whatever it is down for the GT Blackseries for over 2 years now. I've been informed from various people at Brooklands that it wont be a first come first served car.I would guess that if you want it then buying a GT-R would stand you in good stead for one.

I checked up on this since I was curious. Apparently its 140 cars for 2017, there will be additional cars in 2018.
Threesixty are you getting your info from your Mercedes dealer? My Mercedes salesman from a big dealer says they have no info currently on the GT-R just that it's coming out next year. No idea on allocation etc. That's a tad worrying then if the UK isn't limited to just 150 total but 150 in the 1st year with more in the 2nd year.

My info is second hand from UK HQ, all GTR allocations are dealt with by one person at HQ apparently. That's a tad worrying then if the UK isn't limited to just 150 total but 150 in the 1st year with more in the 2nd year.
Anyway I've been told £140k base for GTR, ceramics and a few other odds and sods and this will be £160k.

Only a week till order books are open.
What are people's preferences to colours?
CitySlicker I will be able to answer that once I know the prices for the different metallic colours. I want to go for a lary colour, but if the yellow/ green etc are £9000 then I will be going for a cheaper colour as I won't get my money back on that. What are people's preferences to colours?
What about you?
