Possibly related to mileage and condition?

Others same year and millage seem to be 26/27 minimum and looks in good condition but only going off pictures in person could be a whole different story!
Viewed one last week with 'fsh' but was 9 months/4K miles overdue a service! '507 wheels' which were replicas, and looked 9.5" wide with 255 tyres on!

There are some horrors out there which hide their sins well in ads / pics.

I had the option to buy my 2014 C63 at the end of its lease for £33k (it had 20k miles on it). It was immaculate and although it wasn't option heavy, it did have the 19" Multi-spokes, HK sound system and ILS. I never wanted for more. Foolishly I gave it back to MB and took delivery of a W205 C63 and its turned out to be the most regrettable car decision of my life. What a bag-o-sh*te the new model is! If there is any advice I can give to anyone aspiring to own a C63 then its to get a W204 in great condition and to look down your nose at idiots like me with the rattly W205 model.

W204 C63 is an amazing piece of kit so forget about the image on the internet, just buy one and enjoy it.
What do you dislike about the new one?
I dislike quite a lot but the single most annoying thing is the feeling you have sat inside it. The interior is so rattly and squeaky that it ruins the enjoyment of the car. I have had to remove the fuse cover from the passenger foot well because it resonates with music that contains bass. The centre dash speaker (behind the ridiculous sat nav display) squeaks and vibrates when sound comes through it. A good thumb will cure this for about an hour before it works itself loose again. The door/window mechanism rattles on both the driver and passenger side. The front brakes squeal like crazy whenever you come to a stop and MB have only recently found a cure for it (seriously, a year to day after I took delivery of the car and first noticed it, they have finally go the new pads ready to fit). The alloy wheels are stupid too, they sit proud of the tyre so they get marked very very easily - even with very careful driving.

Its quick and handles a bit better than the last one but overalll, where I used to smile like a Cheshire cat every time I drove my old one, in the new one, I have been looking forward to its replacement from about the first week I had it.

Maybe I have a duff one, I hope so, but I can't bring myself to consider another new AMG after the ownership experience of this one.

What they said...

They said:
C63 AMG (2008–2015)

The C63 AMG is reportedly the first AMG-Mercedes designed from the ground up. Its AMG C-Class predecessors had essentially featured "bolt on" performance modifications, and according to Car and Driver these earlier AMG models suffered from "relentless understeer" and "heavy steering". The C63 AMG has a revised front end suspension that is taken from the CLK 63 AMG Black Series. The ESP can now be completely turned off, interfering only under heavy braking. The C63 AMG also has the quickest, most responsive steering of any Mercedes to date. AOL Autos described the new C63 as the best driver's car in the Mercedes lineup.

The AMG 6.2L V8 engine, despite being detuned compared to other AMG offerings using the same powerplant, still provides the C63 AMG with more horsepower and torque over direct rivals such as the Audi RS4 and BMW M3. The 7G-Tronic automatic transmission has AMG SpeedShift with three shift modes – Comfort, Sport and Manual – with the last one running with the converter locked allowing the driver to hold the engine at the rev limit. Car and Driver tested the car in their December 2007 issue and recorded a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.3 seconds at 116 mph (187 km/h). This made the C63 AMG the quickest 4-door production sedan in the world at its debut.

Still not enjoying it then?! What will you go to next?

No not really. I mean, it's an impressive car in a lot of ways but I just haven't gelled with it.

I have started thinking about what I will get next. The lease is up on this one in exactly one year (end of April 2018). I might back in to a two seater and get something fast and fun. I'm not precious about having to have a new car, my original plan to get a C63 was to buy a two-year old one but when I started looking, the lease deals made ownership of a new one much more attractive. So maybe a 911, Granturismo or Vantage, depending on what the market is like in 9-10months time

Following this thread with interest. I have mine up for sale SOR but the dealer who is a good friend of mine doesn't mind me selling outside of his garage - at a good discount of course. I wanted to avoid the noise of advertising myself and look for genuine PH enthusiasts instead.
It's a black 2012 car with 36k. Mb warranty until Sept, LSD, HK 19", rev camera, lane tracking, tracker plus a few more factory extras. I'm thinking less than 28k for a private sale.
Welcome to email me as I couldn't message you myself.

That must be the one at Velvis then. Looks nice. The ad wording is a bit weak - doesn't make me excited. Says "full black interior" whereas the car has the beautiful two tone interior. Makes me think the dealer isn't interested in the car if he can't be bothered to describe it properly. Also says "black" - but which one ? Obsidian? Magnetite ? Having said that, it is rare to see a well written and accurate ad these days.

Lots for sale just now at your price point, but you should get £26k (private) all day long. So there is a limit to your downside and you may as well aim high in the meantime just in case. If it does end up at £26k let me know ( I'm in the market for a coupe but could be tempted to a saloon at the the right price) !
