Cool... What suspension are you running? Do you do many track days?

I'm running H&R Cup suspension dropped 40mm i think, It won't go any lower on those coilovers but it's the perfect balance of looking good and being drivable.

I've done Goodwood, Brands Hatch and Castle Combe but It's no longer track friendly due to the IPE headers. I use a megane R26 for track work now

Is it ok on the road? Suspension is the only really other thing I would consider changing. I want to keep track friendly :-)

Yeah its perfect on the road, it's not much different to the stock suspension. I've also fitted a Quiafe LSD, IPE headers with sports cats (which I already mentioned) and had it remapped.

I've had a lot of cars but the C63 ticks a lot of boxes for me, big V8, noise, comfortable, quick, seats in the back, can be driven sedately but can also be a hooligan lol

Owned my facelift estate now for 18 months and am struggling to think of what next.. RS6 would be an option but can't help but feel I'd lose the character of the old 6.2...always wanted an estate/wagon...still enjoying as much as the day I picked it up!smile

if you are wanting to set it up for track then you cant go wrong with a KW DDC setup. then you can go from nice and soft for comfort cruising around the town to the perfect setup with a flick of the switch to adjust the damping (fully adjustable too so you can set the ride height to your personal preference)

Well the C63 is gone, but i'd have another in a heartbeat.

After a year or so, i fancied a change, and chuffed to bits with my new car!

Loved the C63 - just fancied a change really.

Lusted after a Cayman GT4 for a while so decided to bite the bullet.

It's a totally different car as you can imagine, both of the excellent at what they do!

Ideally i'd have kept the C63 also - but i can only justify one vastly expensive toy at once biggrin

Very nice smile

I'm currently looking at C63 as a replacement for my E60 M5. Love that car also but fancy a change and normally aspirated V10 BMW to normally aspirated V8 Merc seems logical (in a man maths way) and the one major gripe, fuel costs, will be better!

Go for it. 100% you will not regret it. And yeah i think you're right about fuel costs being better than the M5 so it's the economical decision biggrin

Im due to get on in a month or so. It really baffles me why they didnt come with a lsd as standard.. Still i like how you can get another 100 hp from a exhaust and remap, add in the lsd and it should be a lot of fun and sound like a real kettle drummer !

I did the same M5 -> C63 wagon and have just moved to an E63 wagon. You won't be disappointed.
