Just hunting for a 2005/6 CLS and I really liked this one but it looks like it's running on low profile tyres? It's not just my eyes deceiving me is it?

Tyres look ok but the Airmatic is at full height so it makes it look weird, thats either in comfort or max, tippy toes setting.

Anyway, 2005 for seven grand ? I would sell my 2008 5.5 facelift for that !

Wow, I didn't know Airmatic went that high on these cars.

That's a very generous offer, I'll pick it up next week if bank transfer is cool with you?

It's so you get a few more inches of clearance on an old farm track or whatever. I've occasionally used in on holiday in out-of-the way locations.

Most notably when Google Maps took me through a forest on rough tracks in Normandy last year. Saved my exhaust. Got some off looks from the dog walkers when they looked up and saw a fully loaded British E500 estate on stilts calmly proceeding along the muddy rutted tracks normally used by forestry trucks and tractors.
