What sort of deal have u been offered on pcp out of interest?
See my post at 9.30am. As someone here said, "madness", but I'm still trying to justify a purchase!!! I have to agree though, the sums add up to madness!!!

Thanks again everyone!! At the risk of being told, "Get over it mate, it's clearly not the car for you", let me run this past you...

Brand new C63 estate, non extravagant spec, offered at £65k. 24 Monthly payments of £553 (doable), deposit of 15k (makes me wince, lost money, but doable) but a GFV of £36,500, thereby losing a whisker off £30k in two years!! I likely hand the car back and Mercedes put back up for sale at, £44k????

So, why am I still considering it?? My deposit will have evaporated, albeit I will likely have had a fun filled 24 months!!! I simply have that 'C63 itch' that won't go away, no matter what the figures are!!

Sensible advice pls (along the lines of you only live once, do it, would be good!!)
The C63 Coupe is coming out at £771.49 over 4 year PCP, with a £2,000 deposit based on 8k miles per annum.

I took out a 2-year lease on my C63. Paid a £6k deposit plus 24 months of £588. So approx £20k in two years. Sounds like leasing would be a better option if you're planning on only keeping it for two years.

I purchased a C63s estate in March this year, it was 15 months old, just under 9k miles, well specced, Night pack, HUD, few other bits and bobs, paid £51k for it. it is the niice deep blue colour.

I love it to bits, had a few issues with speaks/rattles etc all sorted by my local dealership unnder warranty.

The noise is amazinng, the car is great now.

Must have option is the switchable exhaust so you can leave the car in comfort mode but still have the noisesmile
Can I ask, was that a cash purchase, or PCP? If PCP, did you get a good deal? I'm imagining yes, otherwise you wouldn't be posting here!!!! There's one for sale quite close to me, £56k and pretty much brand new, but APR on used makes it cheaper to buy new, if on a PCP.
It was cash purchase with an X6 as p/x.

The estate will suffer the big depreciation. If it's a matter of affordability and it's hard for you to accept, I wouldn't do it. Wait till it's comfortable to do the deal financially.

The coupe is in high demand and depreciation is lower. You can easily get 10% off a new car and PCP contribution for a C63 estate or saloon. I achieved 10% discount on my coupe.

Coast2coast are offering £10k discounts on the C63. They'll help offsets the depreciation. That £10k is a mix of Merc finance contribution and regular discount. Merc have the GFV and interest rates online so if paying monthly, you can guesstimate the monthly repayments.

I'm test driving this week as the C63 now undercuts the M3 significantly.

I've sent off requests to Broadspeed and Coat2coast, I'll update if anything of interest! Test driving C43 this week, so may be a step closer. Thanks all for very helpful input. I know it's the V8 I want, just need to get my head round the money bit! Maybe it's time to buy a car and keep it for years!!!

I'd be very interested to hear what you're able to get off the C43 if you're able to share, I'm also looking

£30k ish will get you in a main dealer 2013/14 6.2 na estate with a years warranty (two if you push), run for two years and sell for £24k-£25k (look at prices for early facelift estates for an idea of value in 2 years), your TCO will be about 17% of a new one and the NA is sublime too. I'm 9 months into mine and absolutely loving it.
I'd second this - Mercedes approved used AMGs have a 2 year warranty as standard, and there's a promo on the service plan for AMGs at the moment.

I owned a 2012 C63 PPP for 3 years. Amazing car. Recently gone to its big brother, the e63s.

I test drove a 2017 C63s and it just felt soulless. Interior is much improved but the one I drove was very rattly!

As above you could buy a 2012/2013 model and lose next to nothing on it.

W204 C63 is far superior to the W205 version. Its got the proper engine and it's built like a tank. In 20 years time when folk like us reminisce about the petrol cars we used to drive, owning the 6.2 will give you much better memories than a 4-litre BiTurbo

Did you get any decent quotes in the end? Was it just the C63 you received quotes for or did you get any C43 prices?

I only had the one quote for the 43, (from Carwow), which was on a brand new, well spec'd estate, £15k deposit, and 24x £394. Had a test drive in a C43 estate, lovely car, and as you'd expect, not quite the beast that the C63 is, but very fast, and feels more planted, owing to 4WD. It did feel a bit cramped, but the car I drove had the night pack, in diamond white and it looked superb, (at Beaconsfield) but didn't have the switchable exhaust, which was a pity. When I test drove the C63 the other day, it did have the switchable exhaust, and my god it sounded incredible!!!!! I really wish Mercedes did extended test drives - although I get why they don't, but It's hard to shell out £50k plus on the back of a 15 min blast.

I reckon it's an age thing, but I'm loving Mercs these days and it can only be a matter of time before I throw caution and my marriage to the wind and get a C63!!!!

Yes I know the feeling, currently sitting here wondering if I can justify stumping a chunk of change on the c43. Do you mind me asking what percentage discount you managed to achieve through Carwow? I managed 10% but that was a couple of months ago, wondering if anything had changed since

A localish MB dealer on Carwow offered £10,900 of the C63 estate and £11,700 of a C63S estate.

I didn't get to test drive today as my local has no demo or used stock in their group.

With dealer discount included, I managed 17% off on a C63, I have to say, Carwow are good!

I previously test drove a C43 saloon and frankly it felt a little bit boring, it didn't feel much faster than my 430d and I felt the sound was muted, it didn't have the optional sports exhaust which is maybe why but it just felt like a quick c class, definitely not worthy of an AMG badge, also in standard guise, you get the same wheels as any AMG line C class! It's a good marketing strategy and it's working but I think if you're fortunate enough to have the choice, take the V8!

Recently bought a pre reg fully loaded C63s saloon, and I must say it's a very impressive package for the money. Great noise at normal speeds with the switchable exhaust and lovely pops and bangs when on it. Lovely interior and everything feels well put together with no rattles. The gearbox was a lot better than I was expecting too, not quite as good as full double clutch but more than sufficient for the daily driver nature of the car. Only real gripe are the performance seats, whilst ok on shortish journeys they are as hard as rocks and can get a bit painful on a long run. Oh and the performance, feels every bit as quick as 510 hp suggests, properly quick car. All in all a great package for a great price with the discount thrown in.
