Hi I'm looking at what seems to be a well priced car from a main dealer on a 66 plate, only question I have is it has 3 previous owners, 1 being the dealership as a demonstrator, then the first proper owner who returned the car to the dealer who I'm told sold it again to someone who registered the car but didn't proceed because the insurance was too high.

Sounds a bit odd to me the car looks great only done 6k miles but I'm going to get clobbered in 3 years time selling it as a 4 owner car aren't I? I am only going to be doing circa 4-5k miles per year.

Mmm that is an odd one... I’ve just bought one and was surprised the insurance was double that of an F type and Porsche 718s.

Get them to throw in a longer warranty, with no exclusions for a period to ease your concern.
