Mercedes W202 C280 Elegance 1998.

I have been offered an 11K mile 1998 C280 Elegance saloon as a PX against my SL500.
We haven't discussed price as yet as I really have no idea how to value such a car.
It's dark blue metallic with tan leather and usual Elegance extras.
Come on masses, what's it worth??
My view is £3k to sell on via ebay.

I appreciate the mileage is low but I imagine you maybe waiting quite some time for someone to pay 3k for a 202.

You couldn't give them away a few years back. Maybe they're a future classic and I'm out the loop now but they're niche cars for sure.

£1000 -1500 to actually sell it.

I would try to get in touch with Mark Taylor of MTSV or Edward Hall, explain the situation and see what kind of offer they would make on the W202.

The mileage does hold plenty of appeal to some collectors but they may prefer to source this kind of thing - assuming the W202 is a potential concours car - from respected dealers.
