Considering a move from CLS63 to C63 - am I wrong?

I've got an '11 CLS63 but can see the value dropping more and more and I've noticed that you can get a newer lower mileage C63 for similar money.

Would I be mad to consider the swap? The ideal would be a Tenorite coupe 507!

Me too in model but older in year - 2007 CLS and the price difference has swapped the other way. C63s are much more expensive. And common.
Don't do it for money cost reasons, do it because you want the car.
The CLS is a very fast luxury wafter. The C is a sports saloon (brutality increasing with model rarity e.g PPP, 507 etc) with a whiff of the taxi.

I felt the previous C63 was a great all-round car. Great fun when playing, very relaxing when covering motorway miles. Your impression of the balance may be different and I have no experience of the CLS. I’d go for a drive in one :-)
