W205 Facelift

As per the title, I almost bought a 'current' C63s coupe because it was a pretty good deal but I'm probably going to wait for the new one.

The question is, has anyone got any information as to release dates? Has anyone managed to put down a deposit on one? I would have thought it was a pretty big deal but I simply can't find anymore information. Maybe I'm being impatient but it was unveiled in March so I would have thought we'd heard more by now?

Interesting, thank you. One dealer said they don't know anything yet (think they were trying to shift old stock onto me) and another said they'd been taking deposits since April.

I was just browsing the facelift W205, information on the Mercedes website now. I also put a request in for quotes from Carwow for a C200 AMG Line Premium Plus and got 5 prices back with 10% discounts already ! Yes this is on the new 2018 version not the 2014-2017 version .

I’m picking up my new 2018 (pre-facelift) C63 next Sat. Got a mega deal, and I’m really not sure about the new ‘vertical stripe’ grill om the AMGs....it doesn’t work for me, although it looks fantastic on the GT.

So, 2 more gear ratios, electronic rather than mech LSD, new rear splitter......meh.

The external is nice but for me too it's hard to top the pre facelift, it's a great looking car.

I think the interior isn't so meh, it's the only thing that lets down the pre facelift for me, specifically the dials. It's not enough to put me off mind.

I’m itching to order a facelift 63S, I cant believe it’s taking Mercedes so long to release the price lists and specifications considering it was unveiled in March. It’s only a mild facelift!

Anyone got any news on when orders can be placed?

I'm thinking the same as you, the old configurator has been down for some time now. A few murmurings suggest that maybe end of July is the media embargo (press event has happened) so perhaps around then we'll have more info?

There's still a small amount of stock at decent money but I'm holding off.

Congratulations, looks amazing! Any pics from the rear? Did you spec head up display or adaptive cruise control?

Starting to wish I’d ordered a pre facelift car now, at this rate I will be lucky to be in a new one by Christmas!

Unfortunately this facelift is pretty disappointing. Pricing alone has put me off and I'm glad I went with a E63s.

C-Class Saloon - OTR price starting from £29,040.00
New C-Class Saloon - OTR price starting from £32,120.00

10.6% base price increase on the Saloon

C-Class Coupé - OTR price starting from £32,330.00
New C-Class Coupé - OTR price starting from £36,560.00

13.1% base price increase on the Coupé

Old Premium Plus Package - £2,995
New Premium Plus Package - £4,995

66.8% price increase on the Premium Plus Package

Old Premium Package - £1,495-£1745 (I forgot the exact number)
New Premium Package - £2,795

87-60% price increase on the Premium Package

Why is the "driver's seat electrically adjustable with memory function" still an option that costs £600?

The numbers don't add up for the new C class, might as well buy an E-class.

Still no confirmation from MBUK that the crabbing has been fixed, even so, I wouldn't pay these prices anyway.

Are you able to detail the deal you got? Feel free to pm (if you can on here). I've heard a couple of people getting between £9-£10k off when PCP'ing which is fairly outstanding.

I was offered a discount of around 15/16% (just under 12k) on a factory build but this was on the pre facelift. I will be looking to deal as close to that as I can when I place an order.

My contact at Porsche said the delay in Mercedes opening orders on the 63 is probably to do with the new RDE emissions tests and that all manufactures will be struggling with this?

That's about what I'm looking at, starting to be more appealing that waiting for the new one. I didn't think there's any more factory orders? Just new stock allocated to various dealerships, that's the impression I'm under at least.

It's worth pointing out that press drives are happening today. I have a pre facelift on standby for excellent money but I'm hoping to hear something soon about the new one.

Specs and price lists now released.

A 63S coupe wth premium pack now 80K, with a few options 85K!!... This is a whole lot of cash for a C class.. Starting to wish I’d bought the old model with a fat discount!

Where have you seen this? I know PH have posted that prices are out but I can't seem to find them.
