Its been a 4 years now and still enjoying what i call my mistress "less expensive than a real one".
I went up to a Mercedes dealer not long ago and asked for the Aircon High & low pressure schreider type valves
as after pressurising the aircon with a dye which can be seen through ultra violet light found them to be leaking.
The service dept wanted £150.00 plus for one pipe assembly and in shock i said " i only see her on weekends" .
Anyway got the valves posted to me £4.95 bargain.

Looks great and rare in red. Is yours a Performance Pack like mine? Rarer still. Mine has been getting plenty of new parts recently and it's ready to drive again but whilst it's in garage I've asked them to replace roof seals. Also I've asked them lower it slightly via Star as I think they are too gappy in the arches. Yours looks lowered what did you do?
Also my AC isn't working either so I've been told it's a compressor or condenser or something. Where are you getting yours parts etc from?
Cheers

Hi! There. Yes mine is a F1 PP.Ive only seen another red one so far. Its been breathed on as well oversize crank pulley and ecu mod. Really loud too over 2000 rpm.
The wheels are 20" with 30 profile on the front and 35,s on the back, 35,s on the front would rub on the upper ball joint nut, this is why the picture looks as if its lowered.

Regarding your air con.
Dont believe everything your told
I have mine presurised approx every year as i said the actual shreider type valves are leaking.
Even when it was done at the Garage the aircon wouldnt work until i cleared the fault code there and then with my icarsoft tool, i did this at the garage where the air con was done every time using my icarsoft diagnostic tool and then on it comes, the equipment is easy to use , clears the fault , tells you whats wrong and if there is a fault then it will show up after you cleared it and perfomed another test. Priceless bit of gear has saved me a fortune.

Heres the link from amazon.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IUIDFSS/ref...

One thing if the consumer battery in the boot drains you will see all sorts of faults registered on the tool , you can ignore them or clear them.

The Garage ran a dye into the aircon ,then after i washed out the connections with solvent cleaner (dont use WD40) checked there was no yellow dye showing, then ran the car for a day then i used a ultra violet torch from amazon
had a good look around and there they were bright yellow showing in the connections.
You can get a universal valve service kit on ebay £4.95 if this is the case with yours, but you could have a leak somewhere or a different problem.

I did have a issue 3 years ago where the aircon wouldnt work because the temp sensor above the mirror wouldnt match up to the cabin sensor by the controls. I took the assembly out ant there is a small thyristor which had broken away from the solder, the wires are very thin no wonder, so i bought a a pack soldered it on then the aircon started working. Once again the diagnostic tool sent me in the right direction to solve the problem

Trust this helps you

Wow thanks for the info most useful. I hope you continue to enjoy yours. What pulley upgrade did you go with and what is it producing? I wouldn't be doing it unless it was needing replaced. I've spent enough past few months.

Hi!. The pulley upgrade was already on the car, the crank pulley is approx 190mm diameter which when it came to changing the supercharger belt, meant i would have to remove it to get the belt off and also order a non standard belt. The multi vee part is aluminium shrunk onto a steel pulley. Whoever did this did a proper job.Ive been told by a merc specialist after driving her that its possible she could be putting out 600 horses.
Im not bothering to dyno her, i know just by driving her shes a scitso, just enjoying keeping and driving her.
I dont know what its putting out in HP but i can tell you ive been used to quick motors over the years and she can be a real monster if you think you can
get control of her she will bite ,i suppose thats why i call her "the mistress" .
Cheers, go on then tell me about yours, send a photo
