2019 A Class - Cracking Lease deals or otherwise
Discussion
Good afternoon all
Long time lurker on the lease thread - I originally had a new Mazda3 on order but cancelled it when I spotted Dan Collin's thread about the A250 (thanks Dan). I ordered mine (White, Premium pack) late April and picked it up from Perth yesterday (I live in the Lakes so it's not so far...) and spent around an hour being shown how it worked and signing the papers with Shona.
I was given an estimated date of 20th July but this was amended to 10th July and in fact I believe the car was actually delivered to Perth late last week.
Really pleased with it (especially given I'm coming from a 10 year old Jazz on 135K ) and still playing around with the configuration of the screens.
Cat likes it too....

I’m glad my piston head post could be of use, also glad the cat approves. Wow with you coming from a old jazz I bet the A250 feels night and day different.. Be aware that wafting around in a nice new car where everything just works and paying a relatively small amount to do so is addictive, I’m on my 3rd lease deal in a row now ha.
Someone was asking about chrome door handles, I believe that’s part of the premium pack as you get “keyless entry” and apparently chrome handles only came with keyless entry when I was sniffing around the brochure.

Can I ask where you guys are leasing from?
Looking at a Sport/AMG with Premium pack (obsessed with those interior ambient light settings...)
Found a deal on Pink Leasing but obviously just looking for the best/cheapest deal generally.
Thanks in advance.
I think the majority are leasing from Arnold Clarke finance via Perth Mercedes who had some fantastic deals in April / early May. Looking at a Sport/AMG with Premium pack (obsessed with those interior ambient light settings...)

I read somewhere that someone managed to go direct to Arnold Clark finance ( or Arnold Clark leasing, I can’t remember their official name ) that they still had some reasonable A class deals.

Chalk and cheese obviously, but I have rented quite a few new cars for long journeys over the past 24 months so I'm aware of how much things have moved on since the 2009 Jazz. It's like a powerful diesel with all that torque when you want to cruise, but goes very quickly when asked. Economy wise it's probably on a par with less powerful petrol cars I've recently driven (Focus, Tucson, Astra, Juke, Qashqai etc) so I'm pleased with that.
The MBUX system is the big difference - I've spent hours on the sofa reading the damn manual in order to fully understand all the nuances of the system - it's easy to use at a basic level, but to unlock everything, well that requires patience!

nice one still awaiting my build date ! I'm not far from Perth either so thinking of picking car up gives me a chance to have a decent drive back home with it, was it shona you dealt with is she as blunt in person as she is in emails lol ? prob because I'm emailing her asking for my build date ! hoping to have the car for September with a bit of luck ! My A250 arrived from Arnold Clarke yesterday too - it seems a very nice car, still taking it gently but it seems to have more than enough go for me. Hope the fuel economy improves a bit though but I suppose you cant except miracles for a 2.0 turbo petrol engine !
Very good experience alround from Ross at Perth Mercedes so I'm happy - particularly for £235 a month !

Just received this from Russell at Mercedes Perth (Arnold Clark) relating to the A class deal that we ordered in April. Has anyone else received the same? Can they even no longer honour the terms when we signed an order contract?! Fuming to say the least as current least goes back end of the month and delivery was timed perfectly for this.
