Had the deal in April from pink car leasing on the Mercedes amg line they was asking what I would be doing in April when the 12 months are up but says it will stay at 199 for a further 12 months.
Pink car leasing have been in touch and offered you a 12 month extension at the same price?I'm considering the A250 AMG to replace my Leon Cupra next year, however I am a bit confused between the lack of difference between the A220 and the A250.
According to the brochure stats, they seem to have identical mpg claims, and only 0.7s difference in the 0-60 times. The A250 OTR price is £1k more but on PCH there are better value deals on the A220, so starting to consider if I should get a A220 instead.
Am I missing something or are they basically the same with the A220 being detuned vs the A250?

Came across this when searching...According to the brochure stats, they seem to have identical mpg claims, and only 0.7s difference in the 0-60 times. The A250 OTR price is £1k more but on PCH there are better value deals on the A220, so starting to consider if I should get a A220 instead.

There are several engines; the 134bhp A180 and 161bhp A200 are both 1.3-litre petrol turbos that shut off two cylinders on light throttle. Then there’s an actual 2.0-litre engine, also all-new, and unrelated to the 1.3, in the 187bhp A220 and 221bhp A250.
Unlike the lesser petrols, the A220 gets all-independent suspension by default. It’s available in upper-level AMG Line trim only, and only with Mercedes’ seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox; but, factoring in those things, it’s only £640 more expensive than an equivalent A200 – which is less than half the price of Mercedes’ cheapest options bundle for the A-Class.

Very interesting and great news! Have they sent you paperwork to extend or will that be closer to the time?
I assume closer to the time just an email stating will be same price as I'm paying 212 as had black figtree said:

Let me know if you need anything else.
Many Thanks,

Hi,
I hope you’re well?
Yes there is an option to extend after your contract expires. This can only be for another six months.
If you would like to extend please could you let me know?
Many thanks,

Any further updates for any of you waiting for your car? Have dates changed or pushed back?
Starting to consider cancelling the order but I really don't want to as the deal was good.
I got told this on Monday, I still think it will slip back though, I ordered mine end of June:Starting to consider cancelling the order but I really don't want to as the deal was good.
I have just checked and your car is due to arrive with me 05/11 at present.
As soon as the car is checked into Zeebrugge, I will start to organise the onward delivery to you.

Finally got delivery of my A180 AMG exec.
It was due in the UK end of July, was moved back to 08/10 transportation booked then delayed again for another week. Due to various logistical problems ended up with a relief vehicle from Merc. So today I have taken delivery of my new car & my relief car is going back today aswell. Happy days
