Hmm miles remaining disappears at 60 miles!!
Reserve light comes on at 100 then blank at 60!
Minor details tho, otherwise car is great!
Last few Mercs I've had have done this; I assume it's to stop people playing fuel light bingo, or thinking that they can get it down to 0 and it runs out at 5 or something.Reserve light comes on at 100 then blank at 60!

Last email I got from Perth Mercedes was about 2 weeks ago saying it was with the underwriters. How long should this take?
Why not get in touch with your contact for an update? That's what i had to do with Ross, i was at the same stage as you at underwriters, after a week i hadn't heard anything so sent a quick e-mail, he apologised and said everything went through fine and then sent me an order form to fill out.Grantyboy1983 said:

My 180d arrived this afternoon. Was a bit dirty (black shows everything!) as came from Newcastle on the back of a flatbed. I decided to go get a wash before passing by the local dealership for the to get Mercedes me activated. Whilst there, I was told about a free 1 year tidal music streaming offer that comes with the car. I see the offer when logged in but so far I have failed to activate it.
Also on the app all it says my service is due in 359 days and no other info rather than an actual date as stated by another forum member - I suspect he has the vehicle setup app which mercedes is trying to charge £29 for! . Seems theres lots of features in the app but most don't seem to work so probably require payment to activate.
Sorry to dig up a now old post, I went to my dealer a couple of days ago and they specifically asked if I had the V5 certificate for my car. Then they asked for a letter from the lease company to say they were happy with me to use the connected services (Pink Leasing said no). I guess my question is, did your dealer care or did you just say that it was your own?
TIA
I had a copy of the lease agreement with me but they didn’t ask to see it,
Sounds like they are following the correct process albeit pedantic. Maybe try another dealer, albeit you’re not really missing much by not having it enabled,
My lease company said the same re not wanting me to use the services but I ignored that bit!

suits me September delivery! kind of wish I went with the red now looks good ! always see white or they grey on the road
Yeah I wasn't going to pay £15 extra justbforna different colour. The white ones are everywhere and I hate white cars as there always dirty and just look like primer, so red it wasHow's everyone getting on with their cars?
I'm nearing 1k miles now and long term average is 44.1 MPG. Mainly town driving with a few hundred miles on the motorway. A did a 90 mile round trip on the motorway the other day and averaged 65 MPG which I was pleased with considering the engine still needs bedding in etc I only expect the MPG to improve as time goes on.

2000 miles in and am liking it
Easy to accidentally brush the little touch pads in the steering wheel and auto mode on air con doesn’t seem to auto cool the car when getting in on a hot day so pressing it off and on seems to kick it into touch
Enjoying it, nice place to be, looks sharp and as you say economy is very good.

I think the red looks great and really suits the car. I’ve not seen another in red in 4 months of ownership. Here’s mine!

I'd highly recommend "Brodit" phone holders - they are a bit pricey though.Seen the one below on amazon

Checked when my service is due and pleasantly surprised to find that it's in 316 days which is a year from date of delivery, NOT 12 months from date of registration as I expected.
Means I can arrange collection a few days early and avoid the service
Nice! Did you find this within the car options menu? I've not looked for the service section yet...Means I can arrange collection a few days early and avoid the service
