I have a 2012 plate SLK 55AMG, I bought it a couple of months ago and last year the air-conditioning condenser was replaced and it was re-gassed. Before I bought it from the garage they also re-gassed the system. It is now only blowing out slightly cool air. When you first start the air-conditioning it makes a gurgling whooshing noise which sounds odd. I do have a warranty with the vehicle but just after any pointers on here first if anyone has similar issues.

Had same issues on 2012 SLK 250 50k miles.
Re-gassing, making sure windows were closed & re-circulating button light was 'on' helped - but not for long.
Main dealer wanted silly money (£90) just to investigate & God knows how much if major work needed.
Local independent Mercedes specialist with a global yes global customer base as he specialises in restoring classic Mercs. agreed to a free check & reported I needed a new condenser, new hoses & their own design of a hoses & connections better than OE.. Thus new a/c system complete & got charged £800. No doubt I could have got work done cheaper but well pleased. Car now freezing !!!!!
In the past have had mobile a/c specialist fix systems on my drive e.g my wife's Juke for about £200 but that was just new hoses leak checks & re-gassing.

its probably leaking somewhere, may even been unlucky and got a stone hole damage in the new condenser.
Most places (or an air con specialist) will be able to add a dye and see where it is leaking. you're best off going somewhere with a ramp unless your choice of mobile tech and get it up high enough on your drive.
First port of call will be your garage and or warranty.

Had a similar issue on R171 SLK55 and it was a tiny hole in the condenser. when all fixed and charged it blew freezing cold. so if yours isnt ice cold its not in good health.

Car went to the MB centre in Nottingham today. No leaks and the gas was ok. The problem was the motor flaps. Basically they were all over the place so the air was chilled but not getting to the cabin correctly. All seems fine now
