Sorry to cry help on a first post to this forum.
Battery died on the SL500 yesterday and I will change it but...
...last year the on-board computer died and they said it was because 'the battery had been disconnected/non Merc charger was used'
Is there any special precaution to follow in doing a battery transplant??
I have a nearly local dealer but their knowledge of SLs in less than intimate.
