My 1982 280TE - 427k km and still going (sort of)

The 1997 C200 Sport I sold when I left the UK.

It appears it catastrophically failed its MOT in Feb 2015 at 115k miles so is no longer with us.

GL350CDI. Collected on Saturday. Very pleased with it - replaces a W164 ML320CDI. By comparison the GL is quieter, slightly more economical, and slightly more powerful. Plus it has lots more toys.

That looks really nice, in my opinion.

Thank you. It's a monster and does divide opinion but I spent a while trying to find one with the right spec and "look" so it's nice when other people agree. smile

I love driving it - just to feel the wave of quietly understated power. It feels as though your destination is "inevitable"... funny thing to say but you get the impression nothing could stop it (except for its brakes, of course, which are epic).

Pics are from the dealership - they came out really nicely. Must have a pro photographer on the books.

They definitely are the best looking wheels. I have actually done an 'off-road experience' in one of these and have to say it was great. Enjoy it mate.

Very nice indeed. I used to love our GL, its gone for a month now smile

This was its last photo....

We went 2 sizes down to a GLC43 AMG, definitely easier around a multi storey car park for my wife smile

That's quite funny as my wife wedged our ML in a multistory car park after I'd fitted the roof box the day before we were going on holiday in it.

I hope she never reads this. biggrin

I've only been once scared, and that was in the Barbican car park. Lowered the air suspension most definitely and I could easily touch the car park ceiling through the sun roof smile

She'll be fine. Enjoy that lovely car.

My truly mint 500 Mille Miglia with newly refurbished AMG 2 piece wheelios. (Still have the originals)

And my SLS now owned for 4 years, had a slight blip over Christmas whereby I lied up a buyer for it but thankfully he had to postpone the viewing so now it's staying smile
