^^^ Cooo, gosh and mostly phwoar. That is one fine-looking 190. Sunroof open for extra downforce?

What are the alloys?
I wish I could say the sunroof was open for extra downforce but my friend is 6ft 7" and he wouldn't fit with his helmet otherwise haha.

Wheels are 16x8" Zender Turbo's

I'd say it looks pretty special in that colour, and definitely the sort of car I'd take notice of if driving past. Looks like a clean car too smile

My family bus.... wanted something different from a Range Rover and that it is. Sounds great too with a full Supersprint system recently installed. Pictures obviously not take at the same time.

I've got an AMG GT R coming...in green, maybe that will appease them?

They'll love it. It's not diesel. smile

How is it? I have a GL350CDI and I am already wondering where do I go next? I *think* I'd like a G55 but I wonder if I'd miss the space of the GL and the road manners (which are better than the G, even if they're not the same as a Caterham). I can pick up a low mileage GLS63 for slightly less than a low mileage (but older) G55.

I love it - they just burble around and are effortless to drive. For me the big appeal was it's different to a Range Rover and it has bucket loads of load space and the extra row of seats but of course you don't need the petrol V8biturbo for any of that.

Chassis wise arguably due a refresh now but they're just so cool, and sound the best.

Thanks, I've only had it 6 months and only use it at weekends but not had any issues so far other than replacing all the tyres with michelins.

I had a CL55 AMG for 6years and covered over 100k miles in it before this! It had 260K When I sold it so I'm aware of the common issues and can fix most things on them myself

Would you say significant difference 55v65 maintenance wise?

The 65 has more expensive brake components and the engines suffer from coilpack failures, other than that there isn't much difference from what I've seen

I had a '63 exactly the same. Lovely cars let down by the gearbox IMO. But still fantastic.

I think there is an oil pump issue too that needs both heads off to fix. Lots of hours.
