It's become one of the great TVR national events drawing in cars and their owners from far a field.
And this year the BNG begins it's tour of the north, with a visit to the Newcastle Quayside.

Paul Spensley has taken up the challenge of bringing you a new location, but using the tried and successful model of a three day event.
Drives out, an evening function and a spectacular location for the static meeting (the Quayside with the river, bridges, Armadillo and Baltic Mill).

More detail soon Im sure but for now pop it in your diary and keep the weekend free. It promises to be a cracker.

This years event has all the hallmarks to be a cracker. The venue is confirmed for the Sunday gathering, being located between Tynesides two most famous landmarks and in front of the world famous millenium bridge.

I'll update this thread with more information on the associated events, drives-out for the Saturday, track day, and Saturday night of Newcastle hospitality, as all the details get firmed up, but please feel free to contact me if you would like more detail, or wish to get involved...

Thanks

Paul

Hi guys

All visitors are welcome to the BNG, TVR drivers or not thumbup

Unlike previous years, we only have a limited number of reserved parking available within the main car-park for the Sunday gathering and will be directing all non-TVR's to the parking area just in front of the main area. Due to the finacial support from Multipart, we're able to keep the TVR parking area free of any entry fee or parking costs and this will apply to the first 290 (approx) TVR's which turn up. Non-TVR's, or those who arrive once the free area is full will have to use the lower area outside the zone covered by the Licence from Gateshead Council, the pay-and-display will still apply.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

how are things going on the organising front? Can you share any more details with us yet.

In previous years we have brought a number of cars up from Darn Sarf and we were planning to do so again. Would be good to know where's a central place to try and book a hotel as we need to find one with multiple rooms, in a convenient location and secure parking, etc.

If we can help out in any way give us a shout.
