That looks like this car which DK sold maybe a couple of years ago...seems to have done very little mileage since. Was just under £100k then.
Guessing the owner didn’t get on with it as it’s not really a car you’d buy other than to drive !

Perhaps the owner was happier going round in big circles extremely fast.......

I am sure the car is worth every penny - the numbers still make grim reading though.

Nice car at Joe Macari if anyone is looking http://www.joemacari.com/All-Cars-for-Sale/_prod_A...
£43large at Alfaholics spent. Will be a nice car
So £43k at Alfaholics then a purchase price of £99k, does that mean a standard car would be £56k?

TX.
Whoever does all the Resto work rarely gets their money back. It's not worth 99k unless you value all the Alfaholics work as priced. I'll be happy if it sells tho for that much as it's got to help push values up generally :-)

Thing is, you'd struggle to build that for £99k if you commissioned someone to do it for you.

Maybe if you were capable of doing the work yourself, but if you delivered a rusty 105 to a specialist and said build me a 200hp, fully trimmed road burner, forget it!

Pedal box looks a bit home-made.

And the fluid reservoirs look very close to the exhaust manifold

You can pick up more road friendly cars for similar money. Great for trackdays I imagine that one!

Ah.....well I am sure he enjoyed it. I was lucky enough to have a few passenger laps with his brother Marino at an event called Veloce (bizarre given your user name!) a couple fo years ago at Goodwood. He was a really nice guy....not at all full of himself, totally unassuming. Dario was there too. Car was pretty special, one of the original Lightweights which was destroyed in period and re-bodied. Original crumpled shell was kept and inthe last ten years a 10000 hour restoration they straightened out the original shell and managed to keep 90% of the original car.

Would it be rude to ask how much it went for?

Not rude but not the sort of thing we'd put on a public forum...
