Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One
Discussion
I've asked the dealer if it could possibly have the transport blocks still in but they say definitely not, they seem to think it will settle down to the correct height after about 500 miles but that sounds like a load of bull to me.
I've had a look at the front springs and can't see anything but I'm not 100% sure what the transport blocks look like, maybe going to have to take a wheel off and have a better look.

Take it down an unadopted, potholed bumpy road*. You'll soon know I've had a look at the front springs and can't see anything but I'm not 100% sure what the transport blocks look like, maybe going to have to take a wheel off and have a better look.
(* or any bloody road in Cheshire at the moment...... )

just as a comparison
So far so good, 500 miles on this 2018 Q within the first week. Removed the Giulia badging and am I nstalling the Forza exhaust bypass this week to hear the Race mode vocals in all modes.
Only major annoyance is the interior build quality. When the music has a little bass in it, the rattles inside the car are like the Maserati QP it replaced. There are even rattles from the outside around the boot too which are unacceptable. The Mercedes CLS and Porsche Cayenne have no rattles whatsoever when music is played at any volume.
It is a rather quick car

Hi folks
Have been following this thread for a while but new as a contributor. Looking to change my 2012 C63 coupe soon for something potential future family proof and have pretty much decided that the QV is the one vs M3 comp (uninspiring noise) & C63S saloon (uninspiring styling). I have a few questions about the QV and would appreciate any answers you can provide:
1. Are reversing cam and Apple CarPlay standard spec?
2. Does race mode give more power through overboost and does this mean power is limited in other modes?
3. Anyone tried a remap to keep exhaust loud outside race mode? Relating to Q2 - would such a remap enable permanent overboost? Also, any alternative solutions to keep the loud exhaust bar aftermarket exhaust
I'm particularly keen to find out about the exhaust as I'm coming from a pretty high quality sound benchmark from the 6.2 and race mode tried to kill me in a straight line during a test drive - admittedly on a cold day!
Sorry for the long message, any help much appreciated and look forward to interacting with you good people

1. In UK, reversing cam is standard and I think you can now specify Apple CarPlay for a small fee (£150 I think). Double check CarPlay when ordering though as it keeps being delayed.Have been following this thread for a while but new as a contributor. 2. My understanding is there's no difference in power between any of the modes but others can probably give more info. Ecain63 probably.
3. You have lots of options:
a. Some companies do a remap to increase power and enable full exhaust on Dynamic.
b. AHM do a remote exhaust valve controller for £199+VAT supplied or £299+VAT fitted. You can then turn it off and on via a small remote whenever you want .
c. You can manually disconnect the vacuum pipes so that the exhaust is permanently open at all times.
My choice would be b.
