Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One
Discussion
Test drove one today and oh dear the want is bad now. No car has made such an impression on me in recent times since my 981 spyder. Might just be ready to forgive them my last Alfa 164 3.0 v6, truly the most unreliable car I have ever owned. Just jumped into a macan and sadly it aint going to suffice.

After a year with mine, none of that has dulled either If anything I like it even more now urquattroGus said:

After a year with mine, none of that has dulled either If anything I like it even more now Putting a respectable 2,000+ miles on the car over the next few days with a few trips between LA, Palm Springs and Vegas. It’s a deeply, deeply satisfying car for overtaking on these long desert stretches and the car feels immensely solid. Makes the Maserati QP it replaced feel very fragile indeed.
Chap in a CL550 got a bit of a shock Just now after pulling level only to see the Mrs casually floor it with the exhaust exploding away

I also still want one at some point, fabulous saloon. Prices still holding up quite well circa £50k and up. Blue has grown on me however. Last week I saw my first on the road locally, in Sheffield, comp red with dark alloys.
Also saw one the other day, look very striking.XK120FHC said:
Think the suspension on mine is finally starting to settle, it definitely looks lower now than it did when I Collected it. Now over 1000miles so can finally drive it like it’s meant to be driven.
Curious as well that you think your suspension is settling, I'm 3k in and sometimes it looks lower, yet other-times seems higher.

What mod did you do to your front numberplate? Are you using the smaller holder? Looks a lot better than the standard plate tbh.

Apparently new cars are 6mm higher than the older cars.Curious as well that you think your suspension is settling, I'm 3k in and sometimes it looks lower, yet other-times seems higher.
Depreciation...i just walked out of my AR dealership and I am not an happy bunny...my 67 reg with 5k miles is now worth £43k ... paid just over £60k with £5k of option less than 6 months ago...any similar experience? Are AR dealers taking the mic and not supporting second hand value?

Fairly standard from a main dealer to offer quite substantially low numbers as their overheads are high.paddy1970 said:

Exactly why I didn't jump in brand new unfortunately. Good as they are, nearly £20k depreciation within 1-2yrs. Saying that, you'd get a fair bit more private as the dealer is clearly hoping to punt it out at +£5k from your trade in. In a year or so it will be interesting to see what values are like.

That's normal, dealer has a markup as well. They'll be selling it over 50k. Why are you selling so soon, I assume personal circumstances or are you a lottery winner? virtualm said:
