Some of them are turned off in the screen menu.
The lane departure is turned on and off by pressing the tip of the left stalk, I always have mine turned off.
I do find the blind spot stuff useful though.
The first time you brake hard and get the hazard lights on is entertaining - it made me laugh! Thanks for the advice, I will read the manual one day The lane departure is turned on and off by pressing the tip of the left stalk, I always have mine turned off.

Very nice. Same colour and almost the same spec as mine.https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=...
Well folks, I came very close to ordering one.
However, as much as I tried, I couldn't put myself in the hands of that dealer network....after care is a big thing on my list.
So, I've now got a Cayman GTS, a stunning thing, with great handling and an intoxicating, flat six screamer. What a thing it is, sublime.

& the Porsche is a great car, but it isn't really a comparison with the Giulia. If i'd wanted a 2 seat coupe I might have gone there or the F Type, but I needed more seats & when was the last time you could by an Alfa with your head & your heart! No the dealer network is not Porsche, but that isn't always a bad thing...
My experiences with Alfa dealers is that they have been very helpful. (albeit I have only dealt with two)
In contrast my father has tried to buy a Porsche a couple of times and has been treated appallingly.
E.g Waiting 50 minutes for a pre booked Test drive, none of the other 4 staff in the showroom are willing to help, being forced to walk out etc.
Travelling to look at a car only to find that it wasn't at that depot, despite phoning ahead.
etc etc

Longtime lurker first time poster - I'm going to be arranging a test drive imminently, but wanted to know if anyone has experience of dealers in Essex?
Ive had a look at a QV at D Salmon in Colchester but not been to County Motors in Chelmsford yet.
Does anyone have experience positive or negative of either of these 2 dealers or others not too far from Essex?
Ive only seen one QV locally (I'm based in mid Essex) in the car park at Wickham Bishops sports ground, wonder if that's anyone's on here?
It had black calipers, and keen to know what color it was, Comp Red or Alfa Red as i'm really torn on colors; Comp red is my logical choice and liked it on the demo QV i saw at D Salmon, but wasn't so enamored on the one I saw on a dull overcast day at Wickham Bishops (hence why I'm keen to know if it is someones on here they can confirm what it was - don't get me wrong it was v nice just not sure I would plump for whatever that was), but do like the look in the brochure and configurator at least of Montecarlo Blue. But there is part of me that the exclusive QV colours appeal to (the stupid snobbish part i guess)...if only they did an exclusive to QV Blue...
anyway any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers

That'll be me. Yet to see another one locally.... Mine is Comp red. I don't often clean my cars it has to be said. It looks very different in different lights. I've now had it ceramic coated and paint prepped, which has really bought out the best in the colour.Ive had a look at a QV at D Salmon in Colchester but not been to County Motors in Chelmsford yet.

I have heard some pretty bad things about county motor works over the years (from Fiat and Alfa owners)
Maybe I'm being unfair, but thats just what I've heard.
Kevin at D Salmon was very helpful, although I actually picked up a cancelled order from a dealer in Dorset, couldn't turn it down etc.
I haven't been in to either for a service or warranty work yet, but I favour D Salmon. Other Alfa club owners also use them I believe.

Yes i had heard the dull/sunlight issue on the comp red. As i say when i looked at D Salmon look really nice, in bright sunlight, and it was a dull day at WB. I have heard some pretty bad things about county motor works over the years (from Fiat and Alfa owners)

You don't play for BHR do you by any chance?!
County has a poor reputation in the past (thats 2nd hand from Jeep owners), but i'm minded to give it a chance to see what they can do for me.
edit * where did you get the coating done and at what cost?
Went to an Alfa UK event on Saturday (Stelvio pre launch) and one of the things we got to do was hot laps as passenger in a Giulia Quadrifoglio with a racing driver. I had ex BTCC driver Paul O'Neill.
We did 4 laps of a very tight and twisty track and he left absolutely nothing on the table! He was flat out the whole time. I've not been scared in a car before but I was very close this time, especially approaching the first corner when I thought he'd missed the braking point!
The car was so quick and agile. Grip was amazing, especially the front end. The rear slid slightly under power out of the corners but all totally controlled and only momentary. I was astonished at what this car is capable of.
Interestingly, the car was in Race mode obviously but he left the gearbox in full auto the whole time. The gear changes seemed to be absolutely spot on every time.
Just thought I'd share.

Just back from a trip to Le Mans in the Giulia. It's a great long distance car, and great to hoon when you get there.
An enjoyable trip, and it seemed to get away quite well with Martini colours, initially I wanted it to look like a 155 touring car but settled for standard stripes in the end:
I have to say, in this car you do get a positive response from people that I just can't imagine getting in an M3.

Gus, how is your detailing and protection holding up? i'm going to need mine done, and am likely to use your man, if youve had no issues? An enjoyable trip, and it seemed to get away quite well with Martini colours, initially I wanted it to look like a 155 touring car but settled for standard stripes in the end:
