Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One

I've done the two car thing before, I spent 90% of my time in both cars wishing I was in the other one. Depends if the 10% is worth it.
I currently have a 981 spyder and a Lupo. Spyder is more comfortable than the Lupo hence I end up using it. Which sometimes can be a waste. It is however a truly special car.
I am lucky enough to have access to a 997.2 GT3 which is about as close to perfection as you get. So the Alfa compliments that perfectly

On that basis, not sure why you are even considering a Cayman AND a Golf??
Golf would do motorways miles whereas the Lupo doesnt. However I cant just buy a new little car without selling the Spyder to free up funds. Probably just go for the Alfa. Matches the 147 GTA track car!

There's been cars below 50k since early December. I've seen 2/3 up to now. None in a spec I would have but below 50k all the same. https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
Just put the feelers out to Chris Variava to see what they can offer on lease for 2 years. I have a feeling the car I want wont be available as pre-reg / low mileage when I come to get one.
I see this dealer has been mentioned a few times in this thread. Hopefully they can sort me with a good deal.

Ask for Ben St John there!I see this dealer has been mentioned a few times in this thread. Hopefully they can sort me with a good deal.
Also worth speaking to Rob Southern at DSG (broker), they put some awesome deals together.

I assume that's for a basic car.

Just on stock levels discussed above. I picked up my QV today, having ordered in early Dec and accepted one that was just at the end of the production line. My experience of stock levels was very mixed. I would phone one dealer and be told there was nothing in stock on the alfa system across the UK, however, I'd then phone another and find that they had half a dozen cars either in stock or on the way from the factory. So having been told there was nothing available at first, in the end by phoning half a dozen dealers I ended up with a choice of virtually every colour with multiple specs in each. There were at least 20 new cars to choose from in early December that were either with dealers or had been allocated to them and were either in transit or at the end of production. Often I'd be told at first there was nothing available by a dealer but when I made it clear I was going to buy one that week there suddenly appeared a load of stock.
The factory keeps chugging them out, there will never be a shortage whilst it does. However, alfa works different from other manufacturers I've bought from before in that it clearly allocates cars to dealers rather than leave them on a central database for any dealer to grab.
Spend the time phoning around is my advice.

That was the basis of my initial approach to the dealer. I'm seeing what they can do with the options I want.
