Thanks. You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the official Alfa plinth would you, or even a part number? I've just been through every 4C on Autotrader, and every one with a normal height number plate appeared to just have them bent and screwed into the front bumper. Some of them at rather comical angles!
I can probably take a picture of the bracket I have at home. May not be until Saturday though.

Appreciate the offer, thanks.

Thanks brilliant, thanks. Not was I was expecting at all, I thought it would be a piece of moulded black plastic that fitted the curve of the bumper, same as the Giulia and the Guilietta.

Looking at it, some of the 4C I've seen have had it fitted, looks like a full size plate would more than cover it, so you don't see the bracket at all.

Thanks again.

From the front it does , side on or at an angle it look is a little clumsy, I’m also not sure how a pedestrian would fare if you were unfortunate to hit one , the edge of the plate might cut them. Where all European safety tests are carried out on new cars I understand it’s done without plates as they are different for each country

Picked mine up today from Thames Slough. The drive home wasn’t the best with the snowfall and heavy rain!!

They didn’t fit a front plate but gave me the brackets so will see how I get on and whether I get pulled by Yorkshire’s finest.

It is definitely an event to drive, kept it constantly in manual mode. It does tug and pull on the go but it all adds to the the excitement.

Looking forward to getting more familiar with it on dry roads.

Picked mine up from Thames Slough on Friday. Was quite fortunate with the weather for my pickup, only just getting caught in the rain / sleet for the last hour of the journey back.

As already mentioned, feels like an event to drive! So happy with it in all aspects! Definitely have to fight with the steering wheel on a motorway journey though!

After my earlier thoughts of thinking about wheels / exhaust - I think I have completely lost interest in that idea now. It looks great as it is, and I'm happy with the noise (and I'm sure the neighbours will be thankful!!) - I would rather just put that money straight towards doing extra miles in it!!

I also took mine with no front plate - I have now drilled the plate and fixed on with cable ties to the grill with some foam pads behind to stop any rubbing on the black plastic. I was mainly just experimenting to see my options when I'm inevitably stopped. I will be removing it again tomorrow but will post some pictures - it doesn't look as bad as I thought (I have also ordered a smaller plate to test that)

My coupe has the Alfa race exhaust and I don’t find it to drone (like others have posted).

That said, the Alfaworks Exhaust is better and fantastic.

Mine never felt twitchy on the motorway but would highly recommend the Alfaworks suspension mod.

Any interior pics guys? I'm interested to see what our pov spec looks like!

Did you all get cruise control and rear sensors? Think they were free options? How about the carbon control surround free option? Don't think my spec has that listed.

Super jealous! Looks great

Also does anyone know if we have to get the car serviced at alfa? Can we service it at AlfaWorks?

Does it come with floor mats?

I’m very impressed with the interior. From everything I had read and watched my expectations were so low of the interior!

I got the zero cost cruise and parking sensors, I wasn’t aware that the carbon control surround was an option but mine has it! Also, they fitted a metal/chrome oil cap - is that standard? The box is in the boot along with the black plastic one.

Will try and get some interior pictures, I haven’t seen much of it in daylight yet though!

Floor mats are included too.

On servicing... haven’t got a clue, I would imagine it has to be done at Alfa from experience of past leases - however Alfa don’t seem to do things normally so you never know

Main dealer for services, that’s what Leasys told me. First service will be steep!

Looks like the first service can be had for around £660 which is still dumb money but less than the £1k I had in my head.

Glad that mats are included. I know not all leases do.

The cloth seats look dire in the pictures I've seen; to the point I've considered front tints! As you say, hopefully not as bad in person.

1st service is £1k roughly 2nd is £600 roughly 3rd £1200 well just under at main dealer. So for me it’s alfaworks.

People who have leased through Leasys might want to check the terms. I contacted them in November before I novated my lease and was told the service had to be dome by a Alfa main dealer. The first service involves the bolts on the tub being checked, that’s apparently why it’s so steep.

Beechdale Derby right now has the Alfa 4C Spider on PCH at £393 a month, if anyone is on the hunt for one.

Why buy now when Alfa themselves have confirmed the car is not how it should be and they will revise it soon?

Any idea of excess mileage? Pretty punitive I imagine?
