I thought this had gotten pulled as it was mis-priced. You are very lucky people to have gotten one of these.
We havn't gotten one of these yet pal; there is a lot of uncertaintly still about and will be until we have build slots and deposits taken/paperwork signed.

Mines sat on the drive, been with me for the last two weeks. I am feeling v lucky as it's an epic weekend car.

The 604/L code was totally wrong!

The closest my local paint factors (VRS Derby) can find is code 319/B variant V078 - Alfa Romeo Grigio Anthracite.
Looks spot on to me. Touch up pens seem to be readily available in that colour which is great.

Weekend? I seem to be using mine daily!

Just heard an advert on the radio that Alfa Romeo are currently running a promotion for orders submitted by end of September (ties in with build slots we have been advised of) with a deposit contribution of £2500 odd on top of any running offers. Excludes PCH but does this mean that Alfa are a little desperate to shift stock and thus increases our orders being fulfilled?

Food for thought or maybe i'm just reading in to things a little too much.

  • I am in no way affiliated to Alfa Romeo and any figures posted above may or may not be correct. Terms and Conditions apply. wink

Has anyone taken, or enquired about, the deal on offer from Mangoletsi?

£345.87 9+23 5k miles.

Give them a ring if you want....
Personal experience was that they asked for a deposit before even discussing the spec of the cars and the advertised price was for a stock car of which they have none and will then explain how they have many optioned up cars that many people are after.

Finally the conversation ended with the person explaining they can't do any for under £400 a month. (their cars are specced up and therefore deposit + monthlies increase)

I spoke to them last week. Apparently they have 1 car available (coming soon) which is a red coupe with tan leather with a few options, 9+23 at about £525 a month.

That's ridiculous - their advert for £345 claims 5k of options are included at that price (you can get upgrade wheels, leather, paint for around 5k).

So they are blatantly advertising at the wrong price.

So you advertise a great deal , get a load of people wanting it and then try and knock down the manufacturer as you have a big order

I can't believe that's how it works but if so it might explain why these deals fall through .

I can't see after the last one why the dealers didn't check it out . I can't see anyway Alfa bending over to far to help as it's not fair to the rest of the dealers

All the above is not based on any facts , just trying to float ideas to try and work out why it's possibly going the same way again .

I can understand Alfa offloading a few stock cars and the anniversarie ones they had but fail to see why they would want to hugely subsidise new orders . Just don't know

Let's hope everyone gets what's promised , if not the dealers have some explaining to do.

Thames knew about the Unity scandal and have perhaps fallen into the same trap. Embarrassing if so. Potentially 20+ unhappy customers incoming.

If this falls through, Alfa are dead to me. (Until the next 4c offer comes around... in which case I'll jump in for the punt - Haha)

Have a read of the following..,

https://carculated.com/alfa-romeo-4c-lease-review/

The current 'fake' Mangolesti deal is considered outstanding value at 19.25% of the car value - the original Thames deal would work out around 15% of the car value - I expect that would be unheard of in the leasing world!

Sounds incredible that Thames might be in this position after knowing about the unity scandal.

If anyone is interested in a white spider on reasonable lease terms, drop me an email.

It's only done 275 miles (basically trip back home from dealership, via Alfaworks to get the handling mod done). Only downside is that I set the deposit high, so that I could minimise the overall cost of the lease.

If no takers soon, I may just start using it as i picked my other car up today!

Ahhhh. Were you there when I collected ? V sorry if I didn't say hello - would have been nice to meet another owner!

Yours looked and sounded superb!! Which exhaust did you have? I think they took it for a test drive just as I was leaving.

No worries, I wasn't there...went into Cambridge with the missus whilst Jamie's team worked their magic!

Mine has the OEM race exhaust and the car has 1000miles...still quite shocked how loud a factory car can be, maybe it will quiet down a bit with more miles on the clock.

Enjoy your new one!

Ahhhh... makes sense. I came up from work and had to dash back.

Have the same race exhaust on mine, but likely to swap for the resonated Alfaworks exhaust when I get the car back home. Must admit, I like the Alfa racing exhaust too! Does drone a bit at 80mph but otherwise was actually pretty good.
