Great, we will meet you there.
There could be around 10 of us in convoy from Hedge End.

Great gathering! Thank you everyone who came. I counted 41 cars smile not bad for a local meeting.

Two great historic Lancias, two Ferraris, one Maserati, interesting Fiats and of course numerous Alfa Romeos including Giulia QV and 4C

A great turnout today (I'll upload some phone pictures later) the convoy over was especially fun and I think the young lad in the Alfa coming the other way at west mean was pleased to see us.

Thanks to everyone who came- it was a great meeting and we couldn't believe the turnout or the variety of cars.

Watch this space for the next one- we are thinking every other month so as not to get too frequent, so that would be first Saturday in June, August, and then October. We will post up once that is confirmed.

As for that lad in the Mito, yes, I think he thought it was Christmas!

Please do post up any pics you took- I was so busy talking to people I barely took any!

Hi guys, i was the lad in the Mito going the other way!! i thought I would miss the convoy from there so was following the satnav to Alton. It was so cool to see everyone going the other way! It did feel like Christmas. I think I was smiling most of the way to the cafe smile

I'm glad I mustered the energy to pop over. My Alfa was rather dirty but I use it daily so I forgive myself.
I was buoyed by the fact I saw a QF and a 4C and a variety of pretty, uncommon Italian beauties. The Ferrari 355 was immaculate, the '62 Lancia was utter class and the sound of that Wizard was music.
I was seriously considering Brooklands but am at Silverstone that weekend. Some other time for sure.
Here's my £750 hack looking a little cleaner:

The barchetta and also the yellow coupe are owned by the chap with the Ferrari 355.

Thanks again Ross, a great meet up with some excellent cars and a good fun convoy to Alton

Really enjoyed the half way stop at that fantastic house for the photo opportunity, thanks must go to Rupert (hope I've remembered your name correctly) for letting us park on his "driveway".

Looking forward to the next one already, see you all in June.
