I was staggered how little they knew. I was told folding seats and 3rd rear seat belt were options.

Still haven't discovered whether the roof bars as advertised will fit on a QV (for carrying a bike) due to the carbon roof.
This was my concern. As I would like to transport my bike in the car, so seats down was a big deal for me..

I've ordered one of these: https://www.seasucker.com/collections/bike/product...

You can definitely get roof bars. I think there's a cycle carrier on the Accessories web page too.
I know of 1 person that has put a roof box on a Quadrifoglio!
I'm doing a road trip to Italy with wife and 2 kids for 2 weeks. I have a roof box but there's no way I'm putting it on the Quad. Completely spoils the look. We're just going to squeeze as much as we can in the boot instead haha.

I'm going to stick (pun intended) with the suction bike carrier, but might succumb to a roof box for a once per year camping trip where we even struggle to fit everything in my 640d GC! It'll be removed immediately upon arrival though. Not having Italian lines ruined by a bars/box laugh

The roof is incredibly flexible. I'd be very wary about sticking stuff to it.

It's a very practical car, only thing not already mentioned is its dislike of speed bumps. It's very easy to scrape the splitter and the underside unless you're very careful. I have a tailback of angry white van drivers following me to work as I crawl over the bumps. **** 'em!

I have thought of that. The bulk of the weight is over the rear wheel which would be on the boot lid, and the bike weight 6.6kg (less c800g for the front wheel). Not sure of the aero impact though.

There is also the option of fixing to rear screen and boot lid, if it will fit!

....or there's the roof bars.

In A it prevents the front splitter from deploying which would increase down force but also drag.
I've just re-read the manual and it says the front splitter is deactivated in A and N. So, active in D or Race only.

The cylinder shutdown works in A, N and D. The gearbox is what varies the mpg as it will sit in different gears depending on what mode you are in. Also, there are many parameters to be met for the cylinder shutdown to function and even then it only works for a split second at a time. You'd never notice it in the drivers seat. The gains in mpg is another baited hook to make the car appear super economical. It will do 40mpg+ in all 3 of the main driving modes if you are sensible.

The above was tested using an odb reader by another forum member.
Actually, that's not correct. I've re-read Cassino's post and cylinder deactivation is only in N or A modes. Also, it's not just for a split second. It's all the time certain parameters are met but every 100 seconds it reverts to normal, presumably to keep engine temperatures stable (amongst other things).
It seems to do it up to 81mph and in 6th, 7th or 8th gears.

Haha. I was 47 yesterday and I'm having to hold things further away to read them now!
It's complicated and it would be a lot easier to understand if Alfa just published the parameters.
