Alfa 159 Q4 tire question

My little bro has just purchased a lovely low miles 3.2 159 with the four wheel drive set up. It needs the rear tires replaced and the question is can he fit Pirelli P7's as a pair while on the the front it has Pirelli P0,s . Will this cause any issues with the transmission/handling etc?
