Congrats OP, looks lovely. The Abarth grill lettering looks more pronounced on yours, nice touch..

One thing that I struggle with in our Turismo is the seating position, it sits so high.. coming from a coupe that sits fairly low, takes some getting used too. Anyone know whether the Sabelt seats help with that? Also be aware of the turning circle, can catch you out smile

Enjoy!

Biposto only misses one creature comfort as far as I am concerned - a decent media player. Not that a 595 is much better!

Resorted to a bluetooth speaker paired to my phone (you should be listening to the exhaust anyway), which doubles as my satnav if needed.

Aircon - has a heater and always fiddled with the aircon anyway so only loss is summer cooling.

Fit carabiners and bungee cords to hold the shopping in place as there is no boot carpet, only a textured base which lacks friction.

Only real issue is how to carry the MTB. Thule do a roof rack which fits, but for now using my daughter's Mito....

On a beer run to Bruges this weekend so will be full of crates.

What other creature comforts are you missing?

The sabelt seats add height as they’re not height adjustable.

Good to hear. Aircon and radio is the only creature comforts they have! Interesting to hear about sliding shopping but also a simple fix. Surely the Biposto is designed for carrying large amounts of beer!

A friend of mine has a 595 Competizione and it's a fantastic little thing.

I'd really fancy a Biposto but the lack of air-con is a deal breaker for me.

Thank you, the grill is the standard one for the version 4 car I just coloured it in with a tyre pen. How long it will last I don't know but if it starts looking bad I'll colour it back in with a sharpie marker.

I've come from a mk7 golf GTI and the seats are a lot higher in this, I've sat on the sabelt seats in a car at the dealers and I didn't notice any height difference. The reach on the wheel is the wheel is the weirdest thing for me but my arms are quite long so it doesn't really bother me.

Bungleaio did you use a stencil for the grill lettering? It looks great and came out really well.

I've come from a 2013 Fiesta and the seats in that were pretty low but I like a higher seat height so perfect for me personally. Do notice my eye level is a couple of inches higher than the inside mirror which is annoying when turning left sometimes though.

Regarding the steering wheel reach you're not alone, one guy has even started building extenders

On the series4 the Abarth writing is already on the grill. No stencil required.

Another picture of my 595C.

A number of owners chose their colour(s) to highlight the ABARTH lettering at the front. Some chose just the outline, and some went the full stuff. I picked yellow to match the brake callipiers and alloy caps.

That 595c is stunning.

I'm absolutely loving my Turismo, only covered 150 miles so far but it's great. I've ordered one of those steering wheel extenders which should give me a bit of a more natural seating position.

Even though it's only a Turismo I'm slightly addicted to the noise it makes, I went to an undercovered car park yesterday purely to hear it.

Still loving my Sept 17 595 Competizione.

Done a heady 2200 miles in it now. Makes me smile. I wish it did the Pops & Bangs like the S3 gen cars though.

The only issue with mine (and others with the 7” Uconnect NAV) is a random black screen & inaccurate positioning in foul weather.

The screen is heat sensor related apparently & fixable via a software update.

That Blue 595C pictured above is stunning. Congratulations!

Quick tip for the standard exhaust, full bore gear change at around 3,500 revs results in a nice little pop from the exhaust smile

3500 sounds a bit early but I will give it a try shortly.

There's nothing in the manual about running in and the dealer said its good to go from the start. I've done 300 miles in it now so I'll be giving it some stick now the tyres and brakes are bedded in a bit.

I miss my 595 Competizione, replaced it in June for a Panda 4x4 for practical reasons; I think it was a mistake....

the 595's are great little cars. Smile inducing, even when 'tootling' around, or just travelling to work.

Had the car 3 weeks now and I'm still loving it. I passed 1000 miles last Saturday and it's now sitting on 1850 so it's well and truly getting used! I'm averaging 37mpg which I'm pleased with.

The only niggles I'm having at the moment are fluid related. There is there is no warning light for the washer fluid and it only takes 2 litres so I've ran out twice so far. Also due to the thimble of a fuel tank and my current mileage, I'm topping up the tank almost every day. Not much of an issue as it only takes £20-£25 to fill it back up again. My mileage should drop off a fair bit soon hopefully so I won't be at the petrol station quite so often.

It's an absolute blast to drive and brings a smile to my face especially in multistory car parks. I had to go to Lincolnshire the other day and it was fantastic down the lanes. Even though it's only a Turismo it picks up speed very quickly so is great for overtaking.

I've bought one of those, not cheap at €235 posted but it's very good quality and has transformed the comfort.
