Ah... OK - Should be no changeMinor update but my dealer has said that the factory is now accepting orders for some models but not the Competizione, they expect that to be in the next few days.
I've booked my Turismo in for its first service next week so I'll pop in and see if they have managed to place the order.

Yeah same here in regards to the Comp order, I think there are some 2018 updates coming as per the posts earlier on so that maybe why perhaps!I've booked my Turismo in for its first service next week so I'll pop in and see if they have managed to place the order.
As I am a ponce I've ordered a strut lift kit for the bonnet as I hate the standard bonnet stay. They are in the sale if you are interested https://www.ms-r.co.uk/store/p84/_SPECIAL_OFFER_-_...
They also have some very tasty carbon bits available which would compliment my carbon dash quite well. Must resist!

My turismo is averaging 38.9 according to the on board computer. Its effiecient for what it is but if you press on the mpg will obviously drop.
The issue with doing high mileage is the size of the tank, it only takes 35 litres from empty so you find yourself filling up quite often. It's a small sacrifice for an awesome car.

rather than starting a new thread, can I ask you lot something?
Topped up washer bottle on ours at the weekend, for my wife to tell me they aren't working.
Just been out and checked and it has two reservoirs, one on the left and one on the right.
WTF does it need 2 and what does the one on the right do?
It’s in the manual Topped up washer bottle on ours at the weekend, for my wife to tell me they aren't working.

However the right hand one is for the halogen washer.

Cheers for the replies guys!! 38/39 including the ring.. now that's rather impressive!
So I’ve done 923 miles this week (currently awaiting my train at Calais) including 1 lap of the Nordschleife, 5 laps of the Circuit du Chimay and 2 runs of the hill climb at Malmedy. I returned 37.2mpg

The call I've been waiting for came this afternoon, the factory is open and my order has been placed. The dealer wasn't sure whether it will come with the latest exhaust etc. The main thing for me was that he was able to order the tobacco leather.
He said that normally this would commence the 12 week delivery process but he's not sure. More concerningly he said that the tax bands are liable to change due to WLTP, he said it could be around £500 per year for the annual tax. I've had a poke around on the net but I can't see anything about it. I'll ask on GG about it.

Good news that the clock is ticking at last on your order!
FCA have not yet published the WLTP data for the Abarth range (or any other car in the group).
In general, WLTP CO2 is higher than the old NEDC value. The VED bands do not change, but some cars could go into a higher band under WLTP. The Competizione is currently at 139g/km, which is in the 131-150 g/km VED band, which will give rise to first year VED of £205 and then £140 per annum thereafter. As long as the CO2 doesn’t rise above 150g/km under WLTP then you won’t see a change. If it goes into the next band, you’ll be looking at £515 in the first year. You may well get the dealer or Abarth to cover the rise, but there is no guarantee. Thereafter it will revert to £140.
We don’t yet know what the next budget will bring... it’s a fun time

My order has been placed now the wait begins! Am also going to cave and get Xenons added, have a hire car this week and it doesn't have them I felt like Mr Magoo driving down the lanes, although that could just be this car I don't want to be stuck for 4 years thinking "I really should have ordered Xenons!"
