They’re a good indicator. The sticker on the diff is under the battery iirc.

Lots of people spec’d the super sport wheels additionally so you do really need to check it has all the correct bits.

The pics abover are of my car when I picked it up - had the wheels refinished recently as I didn’t like black on black.

I think the LSD is a must. You need to be careful as 2016 is the transition year between S3 and S4 so there are big differences.

Regarding screen size there are 2 sizes 2016 onwards Also CarPlay was an option with the large screen and not standard. Headlights need to be xenon or you won’t see at night (like your 500)

Ah yes sometimes I question whether my headlights are on.

I want to upgrade the bulbs but I don't want to look low rent...

Our 500 is a 17 plate so has the bigger screen but not carplay. Ideally i’d like to get something a little younger than the current car so that i can avoid the “why buy an older car than the one we have” discussion with management. However, low mileage can mitigate this to some degree.

So according to the updated Abarth configurator to include the new orange colour, you can now only get the Comp in auto at £5 short of £30,000!
Sabelts have also been removed from the 25 grand 695.

When most cars reach the end of their production most manufacturers tend to tempt you with added options, Abarth do the opposite by upping the price and taking things off.

But that’s always happened. My 2016 S4 comp had a load of items that were standard fit and a year later were then options despite the car still costing the same so to get to my spec was over £1k more

That’s not a PP car.

Should look like this:

I thought the PP always had the carbon dash as well?

The wheels look great but stick out more than the tyres and get kerbed really easily. 3 out of 4 now scratched - and it shows even worse because they are black. Can’t even blame the wife, since one corner was my fault paperbag

The carbon dash was only ever standard in the 695 Yamaha.

Hugo - it is a bit crashy over bumps but it’s proper fun on flat roads. That couples with the fact you are so bloody tall!

Kerbing was always an issue so had them refurbed with new rubber. Look far better now.

When the S4 comps launched it was meant to come with 7” display and the carbon dash but supply chain issues they pulled it quite late in the day.

I’ve just been messing about on the configurator, a 696c Turismo with decent lights and orange pastel paint is approaching £28k, I think we paid £19250 for a Turismo with Podium blue paint in 2019, you’d have to really want one to pay that kind of money unless there are some crazy discounts on new ones available…

I think across the board cars are more expensive so depends if it’s in line with the competition?

Fair point, but unlike a new model, the development costs for the 595/695 will be long gone ( well over a decade ).

Load up pricing so it pushes abarth fans towards 500e? Or they think there's a strong enough market not to bother too much to try to attract or.. crazy Abarth thinking...

Me thinks the latter it always seems scattergun.

In NZ apparently all 2023 Abarths will be autos which makes me wonder if they have too many auto boxes left that they need to get rid of before production ends. FWIW Abarth (or "Fiat" as that's the brand name in NZ) only sell ~10 Abarths a month so only a small market.
