Hi everyone,
My first time buying an Abarth 595 comp.
I have found one, 20 plate with 25k on the clock, £15000.
Any tips or advice? It feels a lot of money for a 20 plate.
It was specced with the leather Turismo seats? Should this put me off?
Thanks in advance.
Is it a Comp? Spec is everything. Xenon’s, parking sensors, 7” U connect & so on.My first time buying an Abarth 595 comp.

Seats are personal. Some prefer the Sabelts, others the standard seats.
Check the shocks haven’t dissolved & the rear axel looks good.
It’s with an Abarth garage down south, at the moment I have only put down a holding deposit.
They are giving it a fresh service and MOT as we speak.
I’m going to visit a local Abarth garage and sit in both seats this weekend.
I only do 2k miles a year so it won’t be getting much hammer.
Any advice or feedback would be great.
Cheers

I had my Comp new in Sept 17. Specced it up with the performance pack. It’s a riot of a car that turns a 55 y/o bloke into a teenager again.
I do very little miles in it unless we road trip. I did Italy etc last year (2450 miles in 11 days) and I’m back over on the continent in it again tomorrow.
Aside from the typically FIAT group chassis components rusting prematurely (shock were toast, just surface on the rear axel) it’s been brilliant.
Black spoke wheels used to indicate the Performance Pack which includes a LSD but not sure if that was the case in 2020.
Loads of support for these little cars. They ride like a skateboard but are brilliant fun.

Thank you! I was concerned about the leather Turismo seats - are they any good?
The leather seats are awful if you like going quick as you slide around. However given your low mileage I doubt you’ll have a problem. Regarding value there will always be someone out there who wants a leather seated car but I suspect the majority would go for the sabelts which I found very comfortable over 1,000’s of miles round Europe.

The sears are comfortable & do seem to sit lower than the Sabelts. Definitely try before you buy though.
They sit lower as they’re height adjustable. Sabelts are fixed height.
I did try as my brother is 6ft2 and has to practically lie horizontal if he has to be a passenger!

I have the tan leather non Sabelts. They don't appear to be height adjustable. Or at least I haven't figured out how to do that yet!

They should have a lever on the left hand side for the driver and right hand side for the passenger.
