Hi all.
Basically HELP!
I ve just been told my front dampers are leaking, but I can t seem to find the correct match for the originals anywhere.
It s a 2021 595 comp. Originals are KONI 8745 1275 (L&R), part nos. 51889029 & 51889960.
I can find 8745 1247 and similar nos but not a complete match. I thought I was sorted with these but apparently they re not correct?

All advice greatfully received
I think if you go back a few pages Squadron Rossa (or similar username) got a set for his Comp, they were the updated versions of the OEM Koni FSD.Basically HELP!

Thanks wal 45! But if you re referring to page 82 that s rears, not fronts.
Getting old...sorry!! Did check Abarth Workshop at Royston https://www.abarthworkshop.co.uk/parts/500_Shock_a... and they appear to have what you're after..might redeem myself

Just sold this:-

And replaced with this:-

1971 Mercedes 220D out and 2016 595C Turismo in...
This is my 'summer car' for my home in Madeira. I spend about 6 months of the year on the island, and as the weather is 'usually' good, it makes sense to have a convertible (of sorts). The Mercedes was epic, but also VERY slow and unreliable. The wife loves the Abarth, so we are on to a winner (that's if iI ever get a chance to drive it). It joins a Ford Ranger pick-up (for mountain-biking duties up in the mountains) and a Smart Car (for nipping down to Funchal and parking randomly on pavements) to make up our small Madeira fleet.
I would have loved to find a Comp. but choices are limited on the island and cars in Madeira and Portugal in general are VERY expensive. It is quite common to find cars costing 2, 3 or even 4 times what they might cost in the UK. A ropey old Porsche 996 for 70,000 Euros... that sort of thing. A 2016 Comp would be at least 25,000 Euros if you were patient enough to wait for one, or ship one over from the mainland. The Turismo should do us fine. It is low mileage (under 50k), has nice natural leather interior, xenons, interscope and so on.
Let the summer roll....
Both look absolutely great! What was such an old diesel like to drive? I assume it could shoot a bit of soot out of the exhaust on kickdown? And replaced with this:-

After a bad start, needing an O2 sensor after 24 hours of buying it, and then another CEL popping up three days after the sensor was replaced, I was really questioning my decision to get my Turismo. The second CEL was being caused by poor fitment of the Scorpion exhaust that was already on it, so once that was sorted (all under warranty) I could begin to gel with it.
Since it's my daily, 42mpg average having come out of a boring diesel Cactus is actually pretty tolerable and a one way best of 49.6mpg was quite staggering. And then, when the mood takes me, I can start to thrash about like I'm back in my 20s, enjoying an old school, laggy hatch with a bit of poke and a cracking noise thanks to that Scorpion exhaust. It's not raspy like the Bombardone, but sounds 'fuller' like a bigger capacity engine and now I'm not sure I'll change it at all.

Good stuff, glad you are now enjoying it.
I had all sort of o2 sensor issues when I collected mine. Replaced the sensors & then 10 miles later the elm was on again.
Thought it was the exhaust, which I’ve still no idea what make it is, but it’s loud (in a good way) so it’s staying…. turned out it was a wire chafing causing a short…!!

May have picked up a bombardone in August for the whopping price of £75. Wasn't in a rush to change the exhaust but I couldn't say no at that price.
Surprisingly not much drone in the cabin. I find I actually drive it calmer now than with the factory monza, as you get more rumbles and general noise from it, rather than having to 'floor it' to get any noise from the exhaust.
Friends Mini is a spicy one for those interested, 1.8 K series with a turbo. Stupid little thing, it's great.

Been quiet in here lately but glad people are still enjoying their cars.
Regarding exhausts, mine came with an aftermarket one & cannot for the life of me, identify it. Anyhow, it makes a lovely cultured noise with very random pops on upshifts & if I ever move to a new Abarth I’ll be fitting this exhaust.
What's everyone running tyre wise?
Dealer put some chinesiums on the front of ours when we bought it & i'm wanting something a bit better for winter as the OH daily drives it and it get's a bit chilly in the north east of Scotland!
She's looked at Michelin Crossclimate 3 which is an all season rather than winter. Ideally I want something we can run all year round so should in theory fit the bill. We don't have another set of alloys & can't justify the cost at the moment for a spare set, else I'd go winters/summers.
Anyone running anything aside from pilotsports/pzero? Keeping the car standard so just 180BHP but I don't want something that doesn't hold up great in summer.

Thanks all, I have a feeling we're going to end up going to crossclimates just for her to stay safe. First real day of frost here and it do be skitey. Will see about picking up some pilot sports (my personal favourite on previous cars) for summer next year.
Good to hear people continuing to use P Zeros. I'd had bad experiences with them a fair while ago with cracking and generally being a bit lousy.
