I'd say series 4 comp with performance pack this will get you konis all round and the mechanical LSD that will probably help on the track, other extras are down to personal preference. The 695 biposto is very purposeful but probably too stripped out for day to day use. Check out you tube you'll find quite a lot of info there. If you can reach the UK abarth site it will show you more about each model and you can download a brochure but of course spec may vary from country to country. You can get sizable discounts on new ones here
Yes comp with LSD is the way to go. I really want to swap for a Biposto however the shocks need servicing every 5,000miles which puts me off somewhat.

Feels like I am hunting a Unicorn here, I want a comp with the performance pack, everytime I find one and call up it is sold, dealer did offer me one they found but it had the tan leather (YUK!)

The search continues and I will be fussy about the spec because I compromised on my previous car and regretted it, am determined not to this time around, not fussed about colour just PP and not a hideous interior!
The tan interior looks iffy in photos but great in real life for some reason the tan comes out a funny colour in pictures. The black probably does look better though as there are grey side trims to lighten it all up

I love the yellow,

But SWMBO made it extremely clear my life would be hell if I went yellow. So went for red instead!

I've had a 595 Turismo for 6 months and love it but I've just ordered a new 595c Comp. There's nothing wrong with the Turismo but I wish I'd gone for the convertible from the start. The wait for delivery commences.

Mind if I ask what you've been given as a delivery time? We are almost 3 weeks into our 8-12 week wait, still no firm date which we should get next week.

I think it will be a lot longer than 12 weeks. The factory is closed and won't reopen until September. This is due to their normal summer shut down in August plus they have stopped production ahead of the WLTP changes.

I was told that I am likely to see my car in November but it depends on how many orders were taken between the factory closing and my order being placed. I'm hoping to get it before Christmas.

This delay is why I've decided to order now, the garage has given me a guaranteed value on my current car based on the value of it now plus I beat the July 1st price increase.

I would ask your dealer for a revised date, it maybe that they have found a car that's already built to your spec and they are just waiting for it to be moved. My spec is pretty unique so it will have to be built for me.

Hmmm this is contrary to what I have been told! I was told that the 595 would continue production until the August shut down. Mine is a factory build as well as their are no new 595s with the PP in the country. Think I am going to get onto the dealer again as they are ominously quiet.

Sadly there wasn't anyone there that I could see dealer wise so I didn't get to ask. I have checked my order paperwork and that says estimated delivery of 31st October which will be over 16 weeks from order for me. It will be fantastic if there is any improvement in that.

No worries thanks anyways. I'd be ok with that to be honest I'm not in a massive rush however I need to make sure like you they guarantee the value for then. What spec have you gone for if you don't mind me asking?

It sounds like we might have a race to see who get's their car first. If you don't mind I'll hijack this thread and update it as my order progresses?

I've gone all out on my new car, the spec will be: 595c Competizione in Podium blue with formula magnesium finish wheels and yellow callipers. Standard seats in tobacco leather, 7 inch head unit with carplay/android auto, beats hi fi, dipping mirror, xenon lights, carbon dash and wind stop. The wind stop is a 595c part.

I didn't go for the performance pack as I have a fat arse so the seats are no good for me and I'm not a fan of black wheels, I would have liked the LSD but I figure I can get one fitted for less than the performance pack would be. But to be fair I've not found my Turismo needs one, to be honest I'm mainly on the motorway but it will get the odd thrash around.

When it arrives I'll be looking to get heat pads installed into the seats so that I can get the roof down as much as possible, I'm also tempted to get cruise control to assist on the motorway.

Hijack away thumbup

Indeed hopefully in the nicest possible way I get mine first as; I am largely quite impatient and also quite excited as it's the first ever brand new car I have ordered, one of my bucket list items ticked! (sad I know!)

I was thinking about Xenons earlier, I left them off, but there is a thinking from the dealer it might arrive with them, I dunno, maybe they know something i don't?

Cruise control seems an easy retrofit and a bit of an arse you can't spec the 595 with it really, I will probably be doing the same but seeing how it affects the warranty before I do, however lots of others seem to have done it without issue!
