I've had my 595c Competizione S4 for nearly 3 years.

I spend as much time inside as looking at it, so I embarked on a programme to ratchet up the bar in terms of driving pleasure and ambiance.

I had the dashboard and door cards re-trimmed in black alcanatra with steering wheel to match. The grey Sabelts and seats were never an option in the Series 4; they were taken from my previous Series 3.

Blue LED lighting illuminates the footwells front and back. Blue starlighting in the headliner completes this.
I had similar dash to your Blue one in my old M3. Did you get it hydro dipped?

Yes, along with the door card insets; ACC panel and steering wheel flashes. Natural carbon has been done to death, so I wanted something different.

Went for purple carbon dip in my m3. Certainly livened up the interior.

Could I be cheeky and ask how much you'll be paying (assuming it's on finance)? I'm currently trying to get a lease finalised on a 595 Comp hatch after struggling like hell to get anything out of most dealers when inquiring about PCP finance figures. It's been like pulling teeth!
Thanks!

I’m happy with the deal got, basically I’ve gone for PCP over 48 months. Put £7k down (combination of my own cash and deposit contribution) and £249 per month, £8k balloon if I keep it.

APR isn’t great but the numbers all work for me so I’ll just suck it up.

That’s lovely! I’m thinking alcantara dash topping and a dip for the metal bits of dash once the car arrives. As you say, you spend a lot of time inside the car and that’s where my money will go first ..

Thanks man. That's what it's all about - if you're happy then that's all that matters. I've nearly got my order in for the 595 Comp for a January delivery, so i'm pretty excited smile

Have you committed yet? Those numbers seem very steep.

It shouldn't take too much effort to get the Fiat discount scheme applied.

I got a Comp new in December 2018 for £700 down and £242 per month over 48 months. Halfway through now and still enjoying each drive as much as I did the first! It'll be replaced when the terms comes to an end for a Biposto Record as a very long-term keeper.

That's awfully expensive. You could buy pre-reg for the cost of 4 years payments (without baloon at the end).

2 years old comps are starting from £15K.

You could lease one much cheaper https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/abarth/5...

That’s a terrible deal to be honest, I liked my 595 but there’s no way it’s worth that amount of outlay.

That’s £19k to basically lease the car for 4 years (assuming its just handed back)

Each to their own ad all that but that is just madness.

Or look at it this way.

The car lists at £23,600 odd. I pay £3,500 of my cash* on deposit and £12,000 over 4 years (48 months at £250 per month). So that’s £15,500. Then I pay £8000 to keep so total outlay to me to own the car is £23,500.

Still seems ok to me, and TBH that is what really matters...

  • the £7k total deposit made up of my £3,500 and £3,500 from dealer in way of deposit contribution in lieu of discount

Well the £3500 deposit contribution obviously makes a difference apologies if I misread your original post.

Of course all that matters is that you’re happy with it, I just think it seems expensive for what it is. If your plan is to buy it at the end then fine, otherwise personally I’d be looking for a better deal.

They are great little cars, but very overpriced IMO

Don't know if it's any use to anyone, but i've just ordered my Abarth 595 Competizione on the following deal:

1+35 PCH, 8k miles per annum - £269.81pm. (10k mpa is approx +£10pm)

I've loaded mine up with - Electric Sunroof, Abarth Red paint, 17" Supersport wheels, Gloss black mirrors and stripes, Style pack - Natural leather (Xenon lights, natural leather and Scorpion stubby aerial thingy) and i'll be paying £314.64pm for 36 months.

I can't bloody wait until January driving

Not sure how much your deposit is but for less than £5k deposit and the same monthlies you could be in the new 4wd Yaris.

Looks fantastic. Just one question, did you make sure there's a cut off where the passenger airbag is when you retrimmed it in alcantara? See the red stitching on mine to see what I mean. Cheers.

But it’s not a Abarth biglaugh

Certainly for me, I wanted an Abarth again and didn’t look at anything else!

Considering it was 1 + 35 PCH, initial payment would be the same as monthly payments, nowhere near £5K for Toyota.

Really?

Base spec on the Toyota website is £373pm with £3500 deposit over 36months and 10k PA.

I based it on 8k PA from what was written in the post.
