I think this is the cheapest I have seen yet. Decent spec / milage / condition too.
Indeed, clearly looking for a quick sale.

Wow.....that is cheap...

That said I suspect it will need a good service to check through some of the key aspects. Also love the spacers “intended to not kill you” comment hehe

Yikes they must be in a real pickle to let it go that cheap, realistically a 33-35k car? Anyway, hope it goes quickly and no one notices! Don't want joe bloggs thinking the bottom of the 4C market is under 30k now.

That was snapped up quickly then!

It was a 64 reg, around 10,000 miles, competizione red with a few nice upgrades. £28,900 just for reference

Unfortunately the bottom of the market is well under £30k now, as someone actually selling my car I can assure you of that.

Somehow, I can’t see it happening!

WBAC valuation for mine currently about £27k (20,000 miles) which isn't too bad in current scenario. I expect it to slowly move back nearer to £30k over the coming months/year.

WBAC don’t really want niche cars like these - they want run of the mill stuff that sells quickly, hence the crap price.

It is Andy, but without speaking out of turn your car was missing service history and that was the main issue affecting its value.

This was discussed a few months back. The WBAC valuations on the 4C prior to lockdown were actually fairly reasonable, so it's quite a useful barometer.

They’ve changed since I sold mine a year ago then - at the time, they were offering around £28-30k and I sold for a lot more than that.

So 4Cs have gone sub-£30k, while 105 Bertone coupes just gone from around that mark to £55k in a heartbeat....?

Damn. I suppose I will just have to keep it, I mean its worthless anyway right?

Hello Alfaworks? Oh hi Ben, its Deej with the worthless high mileage 4C, yes well apparently the car is unsellable right now, so you might as well throw a stload more power at it! Excellent...see you next week.

Job jobbed.

Without speaking out of turn, I guess you forgot our conversation, you couldn't wait to post it publicly..... also your offer was well under £30k for a low mileage (sub 5k) mint car prior to you spotting the hole in my cars service history its clear whilst you talk the values up on here you clearly consider the values sub £30k as well.... it was hardly the bottom of the market car as its a high spec spider.

As context the service history missing you speak of was while it was owned by the first owner the Alfa dealer itself who had the car on a showroom floor... the car had done 1200miles and had a full bolt service prior to me purchasing it and was sold and described by the Alfa dealer themselves as full service history.

What would it be worth if it was 20k miles and lower spec? sub £20k clearly... therefore based on your actions the bottom of the market is clearly well under £30k

It's not for sale now, its a high spec spider (only missing leather dash) but I had accepted an offer sub £30k, but then the potential buyer spotted that the Alfa dealer hadn't done some annual services while they had it sitting on there show room floor, it had the bolt tightening at 1200miles and i bought it a few months later but apparently this is a major issue.

Due to this and despite it being low mileage the buyer (a well known 4C dealer) told me it was currently practically worthless (sub £25k) so I decided to keep it... but its this that prompted my comment.

Most annoying thing is the Alfa dealer sold it to me as full service history and i trusted them due to the very low mileage... leason learnt, don't trust any dealers.

Surely if you take it back in - and they give it 'The Mother of All Official Services', stamp the book accordingly - then any purported 'defect', history-wise, is fully cured?
