Moving on, what about this then? Seems to based on a 40k KM mule....... looks rather dashing.

That looks shocking. In more ways than one. Styled by Stevie Wonder with the 'Liberace' interior?

Blimey. That's ghastly from lots of perspectives.

Thanks for the background on this car, unfortunately it was graded 3 by BCA due to a number of issues with the bodywork. Would be interesting to know what it went for if anyone has access to a trader account at BCA.

They don't publish sale prices so no way to know.

That Mole thing is a crashed 4C that was rebuild by a guy in Italy. It's a weird one for sure.

That’s the BMW aftermarket conversion, reduce style and add weight

Have a quick check on Autotrader. Seems to be a steep drop in numbers of 4c for sale. Wondering where the price might go in next 6 months...

Await a huge leap in numbers later in the year though as those cheap lease deals come to an end.....

Check out the Manheim auction list, they have 3 Anniversary cars on their list, supposedly these all failed to reach their reserve last week. Mine goes back to them Monday next week so that's 4 all identical cars with similar mileage. Quite a few more are due back I'd guess so a good time to be buying in my view as prices will soften until this batch get rinsed through.

Are those leases not mostly from 2014/15 with 2-3 years lease normally, which expired in 2018? Not expert in this

They’ll be batch of 50th anniversary cars going back at the end of June - mine included.

There will be about 8 standard black 4C's hitting the market in May/June 2020 and the previous 4C lease deals must be coming to completion about now.

Hi gents, seriously considering a 4C to replace my Z4, last Alfa I had was the 916 Spider which Ioved.

Have a budget of c35k, ideally want teledials but what else are considered mush halves?

Likely to be coupe rather than spider and open to any colour except white.

Thanks in advance.

Well, my coupe went off with its new owner last night.
Out of all the cars I’ve had this was the hardest to let go.
But needs must, and at least it’s gone to a good home.

Thanks to Joe (Superleggera) for sorting.
Top chap, and can highly recommend him for purchase / sales.

I'm going to be really sad to see mine go on Monday next week. Been my most liked car for a long time and unlikely to be seeing much like these into the future me thinks.

Teledial wheels yes. Leather dash makes a huge improvement to break up the plastic so that's what you should aim for. Don't get one without rear PDC (some didn't have it), cruise is OK but not essential in a car like this. Don't get a cloth seat version either.

The cars about driving , my first was cloth seats and plastic dash , it’s not desirable but if cheap enough it drives the same

Except for when you come to sell it unless you have bought it cheap. The interior is cheap enough so needs the leather IMHO. Leather internal door panels like the US cars have would have given it the extra edge.

Is suspect there will be a lot of ex-lease with a lack of extras to keep the costs down?

Yep, if it’s cheap enough buy and just drive

The car was built to be light , they saved weight everywhere , even the glass was thinner , leather door panels are heavier, like most Americans , sound proofing would have helped, power steering would have reduced tramlining 4 wd would have added Audi like traction , the 4c is a great raw drivers car , if you love to drive get one , if it has cloth seats and a plastic dash it will be cheaper but the smile will be the same !!!

Completely agree.... It's a fabulous car to drive.... lifes too short to buy a car and think about resale. If you enjoy it and it's fun then buy it and go for it :-)

Gents some great pointers there and thanks, currently prepping one of the Ducatis to sell then will take that cash and the Z4 to an appropriate dealer and do the deed .... so in summary I want:

Rear PDC
Leather Dash
Leather Seats
Teledials

Well, thats not an exhaustive list and I will compromise if need be, but good to have a target .....

I’d say that the race exhaust would be quite desirable as would extra carbon bits although you could add both yourself but be warned the carbon mirrors, dash binnacle etc are not cheap to buy!
