Considering a Giulia Veloce - Any Thoughts?

I had to part with mine as I cant justify the outlay on such an expensive Car with the WFH syndrome, but I miss it terribly. Best Car I've had by a large margin.
I feel your pain ... I bought a new QF over summer, only had it for a few months as I did the same. WFH and working in the hospitality industry meant I just couldn't justify keeping it.I bought a QF a few days ago and already I'm thinking I should have got the Veloce. 500bhp is far too much for me, I now realise. I came from a 260bhp 159 and that really was enough. Selling it, buying a well specced Veloce and putting some money back in the bank is looking more and more appealing.
I struggling to see what's so special about the QF but that's a reflection on me rather than the car.

I found the same, and that having a "proper" performance car didn't suit me at all, let alone not being able to use 500bhp on the road or rev it out without using my license.I struggling to see what's so special about the QF but that's a reflection on me rather than the car.
Will definitely be sticking to the mid-tier cars going forwards. I weirdly find them more satisfying and enjoyable as they're not as fast or capable.
I had a Mustang GT but sold it when I moved back to London and started using my 1998 BMW e36 again.
I did take a test drive in a Veloce and liked it but it made me realise that I had no need for a car with any sort of performance.
So I went the other way. Bought a pre reg Duster for £10500 and am absolutely loving it.
Plus I'm surprising sportier cars with my ex courier senses and lots of stirring of the gear stick.
999cc triple with 100 horses. I'm really enjoying it, especially as I can only lose £10.5k

I know this will be really off topic for an Alfa thread, but what was the Mustang like to drive and live with? It's a possible for my next car as the chance to own a V8 is getting smaller and smaller.
I know they're more of a laid back GT than a sports car, which is something I'm more than happy with.
My Mrs has a Mini Cooper 1.5 3cyl with 136bhp and it's great fun to thrash about, so I know how you feel with the Dacia

The Mustang was brilliant. I loved it for the mundane commute as well as hooning around the narrow tracks of Surrey. It's a possible for my next car as the chance to own a V8 is getting smaller and smaller.

Not so great in traffic with a heavy clutch and the fact it wanted to just go.
Size was fine, about the same dimensions as a modern Mondeo.
Engine was fantastic and it was a nice place to sit in.
I had the steering wheel retrimmed in Nappa leather and alcantara with orange stitching to match the Competition Orange with the bottom half flat.
It was done by Royal Steering Wheels in Aylesbury. Pic of it in his gallery.
White cue ball gear knob was my only other mod.
Sold after 2 years with hardly any depreciation. I ordered as soon as anounced and got it for it's original bargain price of £33k.
Not such a bargain now but the latest model does have a few extras.
Only sold it as I had seen what London life had done to my BMW.
Nice one, thanks. It's the general liveability / mundane stuff that no one seems to talk about!
I've been offered a drive in one by someone who lives up the road, so I'll taken him up on it once things have opened up a bit.
They have shot up in price a fair bit now - if I go the Mustang route I'm aiming for an early facelift with magnaride. At the moment there's nothing on the market but I'm sure that'll change by the summer.
