Fiat Panda Cross.
Discussion
A long shot......
Does anyone own a late model Panda Cross?
We are thinking of buying a new Cross as a local, country road runaround.
We've recently moved to deepest, darkest, backwater Suffolk. The recent wet weather has caused no end of problems for our Abarth.
It struggles to cope with heavily mudded and flooded roads, or having to mount soft verges when passing other vehicles in the narrow, country lanes (at 90. H/T Sheeran). So, it has to go.
We can chop it in for a Panda Cross. The Cross seems to fit the bill very well as a country runaround. It's small, frugal, is a 4x4 and is high enough to get through most of the local floods.
Does anyone on here own one or has driven one? We just need it for basic country B road duties, with occasional A12 trips to and from London.
Thank you, and here's a photo of our poor, bedraggled Abarth. Filthy, other than its pristine nose, which has been cleaned by constant, puddle bow waves.

I don't know anybody who has one but what I can tell you is that they are quite a common sight in the remoter villages on the hills in the Ossola and Sesia Valleys in Northern Italy (near where I have a house). If they can cope with the weather extremes up there, Suffolk won't pose a problem for one at all.
The farmers up there are much the same as anywhere else and won't spend money on anything unless it is cheap and/or its worth is absolutely beyond question. Old skool Land Rovers (held together with baling twine) are a common sight there, too.

There was agood readers cars thread a couple of years ago, can't find it now.
