Heater/Aircon/Blower not working 156

My heater seems to have taken on a mind of it's own. Most of the time it works fine, but on Wednesday the whole lot stopped - suddenly and with no reason. This happened once before in the summer, came back on a day after I took the dash apart to find nothing wrong. This time it seems terminal.

Strange thing is, it packed up under heavy use - summer aircon, and this week was rain and foggy windows.

Anyone any clues? Thought it might just be low on gas, how often do they need recharging?

Hi Rich

Mine seems to have a mind of its own when on auto and takes varying times to come on.Would have thought the gas needs to be checked every two or three years.

Well, went to Peninsula and they took it all apart and put it all back together again and could find nothing wrong - Guess what! Working perfectly.
