Strange rattle

Picked up a strange noise from the front end of my 156.Sounds like a metallic vibration but only occurs between 2-3000 rpm, under load.Had it up on the ramps but everything seems secure.Anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar noise and it was one of the tin heat sheilds on the exhaust, removed them all now and the problem's gone.

Having the same thing on my 164 and after a quick look and fiddle underneath it's also the heat shields on mine, so my next job is removal.
