Picked up this understated machine a little while ago. It's become an addictive drive, that Busso!

Alfa Romeo 156 1.8 for a change:

300K kms golden oldie. Up for grabs at my garage: Eu 1800. I would if the trusty Punto would break down on me. Which will not happen.

How many spotlights is too many?

I need to have a chat with our garden centre - I ordered grass seed, but it's coming up Alfa Romeos smile

Went to look at a car for a mate today. The seller also had this Alfa Berlina for sale - with FIA papers and an historic racing provenance (1 x Monte Carlo Rally, 2 x Boucles de Spa - and others!) Bought it for a very reasonable price.

I now have a lot of Alfas smile

My humble 156s. The blue one is a 2.0 JTS and the second is a 1.8 TS.

You look like a slightly older bearded Sebastian Vettel!

First Alfa. Loving it so far. Goes and steers better than I anticipated it would. This is it just home to Northern Ireland and washed after a 400 mile blast. Still needs a good deep clean and clay/polish etc so I can work out what it needs, but overall very happy with it. It's a 1750 Tbi

Looks cracking! My father has my old black S4 which needs a repaint. Can I ask a ballpark of what you paid?

JimmyJam,

£5.5k including a bit of restorative bodywork on the rear wings, so around £5k for a proper everything off job and including prepping the hardtop for a colour change.

But, then, these are London prices...

looks like a Mk1 1750GTV from the front indicators - hope you have the original seats - they are lovely.

Thanks, we're also in London and it will need work on rear wings and a hardtop paint too so thats really helpful, thanks.
