Saw one of these in the flesh parked up, they look so good, not the usual bloated saloon actually looked quite compact especially from the rear.

Hi All, new to pistonheads so go easy! I'm from Ireland across the water so we don't get half as nice cars over here as you do!

Nonetheless I am a devout Italian car fan. Currently own a 166 V6, 156 V6, GTV Twinspark, 159 2.4 JTDm and an older Lancia Y12.

Pic attached of my pride and joy. Its a facelift 166 with the Busso V6 and manual gearbox!

Eagle eyed viewers might notice the registration plate. smile

I find it depressing that currently there are only 8 166s on Autotrader and none of them are the facelifted 3.2..

I could buy plenty 530i E39s tomorrow but I want an Alfa!

If you ever want to sell I will visit Ireland! I even like the silver.

Chap I know has a 166 3.0 for sale but pre facelift unfortunately. It has no sign of rust underneath apparently...

A recent shot of my 3.0 GTV6 as photographed by Autoitalia and before anyone mentions it, I am aware that the front indicator screws are the wrong colour - this has been pointed out to me several times before - I weep in shame.

The other two cars belong to Alex Jupe who looks after my transaxle Alfas.

Lovely GTV6, I've not seen one with a NACA duct in the bonnet bulge before, and have always wondered why, as standard, they ended up with nothing more interesting than a grey plastic panel on the top.

I'm just waiting (not particularly patiently) to pick up a GTV6 from Alex Jupe myself - it will be my seventh Alfa in twenty-five years and the first of them to be rear wheel drive.

As soon as the ******* salt goes and I get my hands on it, I shall post a pic to keep yours company!

My second Alfa, picked it up on Saturday.

Giulia Veloce in Stromboli grey with a red leather interior. Absolutely beautiful to drive and look at!

Absolutely beautiful car - a nice mural of the Amalfi Coast across the garage doors would frame it perfectly!
