Thanks. It was all stars aligned on the day...Arrived to this spot in central London with only 1 parking spot left, random Red Abarth was already there, beautiful building as backdrop and earlier downpour clean up the car and street too!

Just purchased a 156 GTA Sportwagon in brilliant blue, very pleased with her so far:

Lovely. That's my favourite colour for a Sportwagon.

Thanks guys, it was rather low on Koni shocks and Bilstein springs when I bought it, i've since had those replaced with adjustable coilovers at Auto Delta as I prefer a ride height closer to standard. Needs a bit more work as the rear suspension top mounts are completely shot and they seem to be extremely hard to come by but otherwise it's in great shape and i'm looking forward to enjoying the car plenty in the coming months.

Insurance is a bh isn’t it? My 156 V6 SW got bumped on the 3/4 pre-lockdown so everything’s been on hold until now. Suspected (very much hoped it wouldn’t be) a cosmetic write off but it is. I’ve been driving the damm thing since it happened.

Anyway, the cake back with a value today, £850. I’d love to see them try and buy a like vehicle for that! It’s a joke. Can’t even even find adverts for price comparison because they’re so rare!

Feel for you!

All I could suggest is setting “include sold” on the various sales sites. Find some relatively recent ones and send them off. Ads on owners forums could be helpful too.

Hope you get sorted.

First drive of the year! Normally around now I’m thinking of taking it off the road for winter, but lockdown, then weather and other commitments mean today was the first time it’s been further than the driveway.

After being stuck in the garage for best part of a year, it’s a relief to get the first drive done with no issues to report!

Just removing a few bits from Mother in Laws 147 that’s being scrapped on Monday as not viable to MOT sadly after 8 years in our ownership
