Have any Alfa owners gone from 156 V6 2.5 to 159 V6?

A diesel is really a goer for me and I don’t know how much longer the 156 will last. It’s dying a slow death by a thousand cuts.

I had a 159 V6 for a few months. Huge disappointment after owing a Busso engined car. Heavy, GM derived unit, thirsty as all hell and didnt make any kind of noise. And watch out for the tax too - think it was over £500.

Same here. We went from 164 V6 Busso to V6 166 Busso to V6 Q4 159 Sportwagon. The 159 was a gorgeous looking car inside and out, but ruined by the heavy lump up front which drank like a whale. Even made me miss the torque steer front wheel drive of the older models.

Talking of 147's, here's mine taken at Southern Alfa Day this September.

Location was Stonor Park, near Henley on Thames, at Southern Alfa Day this year.

Wheels are Team Dynamics, I was lucky to get them from the factory as a clearance item.

Christmas has come early. My GTV Cup came back from its TLC at the bodyshop today (New genuine Zender bumper and rear wing respray)!

No idea why my 75 picture rotated, if you click on it it goes back to the right way around

frown Gutted for you. I had a really near miss with flooding five years ago, another two inches of water or so is all it would have taken, you could see the tide mark on the sills. It’s a really helpless feeling seeing the water creeping up and not a thing you can do about it.
